Where are we today ?
Today gonna be another wonderful day. We are relocating, love travelling, new places new and familiar faces, just moving down the road to Rock Glen Resort in Arkona. Our Home membership park for Resorts of Distinction. If you have followed us for while you know we love our membership parks. No over night fees to pay, full hookups, (30 amp) and all the facilities and activities we can do if we choose.119 kms (73 miles) today |

Steve and Barb are leaving tomorrow I believe so we stopped down there for "Happy Hour" just as the rain began before supper, catch up with them, then back home to prep our supper.
Judy, another fellow Rv'er stopped by on her walk, we met in Desert Hot Springs California, Ehrenburg and Quartzsite Arizona last winter (just waiting for Jim to arrive), while we were preparing supper.
Another advantage of membership camping, we run into people we know all over north America at our membership parks, makes for such a small world. And we make new friends along the way as well.
Now for supper tonight we are grilling a couple of Haddock fillets from the Canadian east coast, Bay of Fundy, between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Another tasty mild fish we love.
Supper done and the rain has stopped, but cooler and overcast for a few days here. No problem, all is good and we can enjoy a quiet time outside for a while until its too dark to read.
about 10 minutes on our Weber Q, and done perfectly |
add the Haddock to a tasty lettuce and a bean salad, sure hit the spot |
Looks like we have some socializing to do for the next little while here, and catching up with fellow rv'ers we have not seen for a while.
Glad you could stop by for a visit too and join the crowd.

I've done salmon on foil like that with olive oil, but never haddock. Might have to give that a try. Looks good.
ReplyDeleteMost any fish on the foil, just spray with a bit of olive oil.
DeleteYou are certainly moving around this summer...stay dry the next couple days!
ReplyDeleteGotta keep those wheels turning. And we enjoy moving about.
DeleteWasn't it just a month ago that it rained at that same park.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Yep just about that.
DeleteAlways great to meet up with old friends:)
ReplyDeleteIt sure is fun.
DeleteI've realized that I can't wait to see what you fixed for dinner.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoy, I try and do tasty simple meals on our Weber Q, its fun.
DeleteI've known several people who use membership camping ~ sounds like a great way, as you described, to make new friends but keeping the old! ~ nice

DeleteThat fish looks very good.
ReplyDeletePretty tasty it was!
DeleteWell, that certainly looked like another fun day followed by the usual 5 Star dinner prepared on your trusty Weber!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rick it was a fun day, and more to come.

DeleteY'all just continue to amaze me with all the folks you meet... and meet again in another part of the globe. As I've written ... internet here is the pits... but I catch up with you at least once a week. Those moose accident photos you sent me were mind-boggling! I don't know how that woman survived.... moose appendages everywhere! I'll tell you... even though our road isn't heavily traveled, I sure watch out for the critters!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo many people out here to meet and we are working on doing what we can.
DeleteYes that woman was sure lucky , keep your eyes open out there in the bush, those Moose are HUGE critters.
