We were at the Whitby arena for the 8.30 game last night and was a real fast moving one and close but they were defeated again 3-2.

It was a fast paced game with lots of action.
His mother and younger brother finally got there but after the game was finished. So back to our house in the Ajax parking lot chat for a while and Suzie got her doggie fix.

Soon time to call it a night and everyone crashed, we had a full house here last night.
This morning the troops finally woke up and out side to play, skate board park right beside, us, playground on the other side, ride their bicycles around, whew wore me out just trying to keep track of them.
|
we even watched them play tennis for a bit too |
Next off to the arena for 12:30 warm up and the 1:30 game. Just before the game daughter number one, her spouse and 3 more grands arrived to watch the game.
|
we met them in the parking lot just in time for the game. happy to se us |
Thats our team in the yellow just relaxing before game time
This was another fast paced game (third in 24 hours) but we got slaughtered, final score 11-3. But hey they had fun and were completely wore out. We were wore out just watching them.
|
we all enjoyed the game |
That would be the final one for this year, they had to win 2 of the 3 to go to the final playoffs
So with this fun all done , back to the parking lot and our coach most of the family here all 10 of us. The 5 grands off to the skateboard park and playgrounds to burn off more energy.
While Grandpa George fired up the Weber Q to grill some sausage and hot dogs for a picnic in the parking lot.

Tummies full, the grands tired out and a nice visit we all had, after 6 pm and time for us all to head our separate ways and make it back home. For us back to Camp Awesome in Plattsville. Back here and all set up by 8 pm. a much quicker drive than friday with all the traffic.
We all had a fun time at the Ontario Lacrosse Festival even though we did not win, it sure was an experience and some wonderful family time too, making more great memories.
Thanks for coming along with us hope you had a nice weekend so far too. Think we will take it easy for the next day or two them young'uns can sure wear you out!

Oh to have some of that youthful energy! ;c)
ReplyDeleteThe energy they have is amazing!
DeleteWe agree to see those kids playing their hearts out we'd never be able to keep up.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Sure wore out just watching.
DeleteAs long as the kids had fun playing lacrosse that's all that matters!
ReplyDeleteThey sure did have a lot of fun, thats why they love playing.
DeleteI noticed your meal changed just a tad for the grand kids. I didn't see any of those yummy grilled veggies!
ReplyDeleteYes it was something quick, and easy that everyone would eat on the spur of the moment. Worked for us.
DeleteWhat a fun weekend, and how wonderful for everyone you had The Coach there!! It is wonderful to spend time with the grandkids - and wonderful to let them go back home. (I mean, at my age I couldn't keep up very long). Sorta like Suzie gets her doggy fix, you both can get your grandkid fix.
ReplyDeleteJool in N. Texas
