Where are we today ?
Sunny and warm day but not hot 46f at 6 am and got up to about 64f, but it was nice here in the sunshine and out of the wind. So after a a few morning walkabouts and chatting with people I am set to clean up these old chairs that I rescued and reinforced. We now have 4 and need to get rid of a couple of newer ones that we don't need/or want anymore. In case anyone is interested I found a website where you can actually purchase these aluminum frame chairs new, if you care click here. Maybe we will look them up some day too.We find them much more comfortable than all the newer ones we have purchased over the years. Stronger a very lightweight. 4.5 lbs.

I am sure a new home will be found forbthose chairsvyou no longer need...
ReplyDeleteWe have a friend that wants the chairs we are getting rid of , hopefully we will see them soon.
DeleteI thought of you yesterday while we were touring a museum. I blogged about it. billandjanrvingtheusa.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks for thinking of me but that was probably a long lost relative a few time removed. Our family came to North America in 1890 from Liverpool England.
DeleteThose chairs are so colorful! We like those kind... the ones that are like a canvas bag are way too hard for me to get up out of these day ;-) Food looks tasty... as always!
ReplyDeleteThe bag chairs don't work for us either, hard on my lower back.
DeleteHope you have enough sweaters with temps like that! :c)
ReplyDeleteWe have enough clothes to add layers, no problem.
DeleteI love those chairs...do they dry pretty quick if they get rained on? Bag chairs have never been comfortable for us either!
ReplyDeleteThese do dry pretty quick, but we never leave them out in the rain or sunshine, that why ours have lasted over 20 years.
DeleteThe new web chairs dry real quick if you get new ones.
The temperatures getting cooler are just a reminder to you that summer does come to an end. Soon you will be heading south again.
ReplyDeleteYep but still 69 days to go.
DeleteThose temps would cause a panic down here:)
ReplyDeleteNot to happy about it here either. last year this time it was about 100f. go figure!
DeleteGood looking meal as usual. Sounds like perfect camping weather to me :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Larry, a little chilly for us though.
