Where are we today ?
How can you beat this weather? Sunshine, warm, no rain. Gotta love it. The usual morning coffee's, computing, walkabouts and waiting for Suzie to get mobile. By 9:30 we heading out, stop at a few yard sales on the way to Peterborough, managed to pick a couple books for .50 cents each to add to our library.
This be our huge site here, love it ! |
About a 20 minute drive into Peterborough and the Farmer's Market. We do enjoy coming here lotsa great things to see and even some fresh produce too.
we did buy a bunch of sweet asparagus |
this guys cooking stuff, sure smelled good |
lots of fresh local strawberries, sooo,, sweet |
lots of people but never too crowded here |
even fresh flowers too |
After the market a couple stops on the way home in time for us to have a tasty chicken sandwich for lunch. Now we can enjoy our books in the shade for a whiole with more perfect weather.
Than around 4 o'clock visit with Pat, Norm, Jim and Sharon for a casual Happy hour. More doggy fix for Suzie.
Then fire up our Weber Q to grill a nice whole chicken, some sweet potatoes slices and amazing sweet fresh asparagus for supper.
about 70 minutes and the chicken is done |
yep did the trick again, lotsa leftovers too |
