Where are we today ?
Another perfect day here in cottage country, just enjoying the sunshine and wonderful temperatures. A few walkabouts the campground and read for a while in the shade.
This afternoon we are heading into Peterborough to finally meet in person Mark Mulligan a Musician who lives in San Carlos Mexico. We first heard about him when we were there in December 2009, and again in February 2010 when we stopped in San Carlos again for a while. Missed him both times. I have been following his website and tours since 2009. Find out he is playing here in Peterborough today, Sunday afternoon from 3 until 6 pm at the Holiday Inn Gazebo on the Water.
Well guess what? Gotta go. He is playing along with Kelly McGuire, and Sunny James White. All three of them got their inspiration from Jimmy Buffet and play in his style. All great music with wonderful songs, telling a story with music and words you can understand Margaritaville style.
We headed out about 1:45 for the 30 minute drive there. To be in time for the 3 pm show. We met Mark Marler that has arranged for these guys to come to Ontario,(3rd year in a row now).

A friend of our Harry Hicks who we met years ago in the Imperial Sand Dunes (California) told us about Mark Mulligan and so glad he did. We had a fun afternoon.
6 pm time to head on home now. |
We had a great day hope you did too. Thanks for stopping by again.
