Where are we today ?
Overnight at Chris and Bill's, a great sleep and up early as usual. Generator not working again so plugged in for the night. Hmm, this generator is becoming frustrating. But were on the road shortly after 8 am heading to Caledonia New york. Only 172 miles.277 kms (172 miles) today |
We made our way to Queenston/Lewiston border crossing into New York by 10 am. A long line up but we made it across in about 15 minutes east/peasy.
First stop was Randy's gas bar, top up our coach, then Niagara Falls blvd to the discount liquor store and Target for a few groceries. Then onto I-90 west towards Rochester NY. Just before the campground passed through LeRoy NY. A nice small town with a lots of nice old buildings and churches.
Le Roy Town hall |
this be our campground for two nights |
did mange to read for while too. |
Another couple arrived John and Wendy in time to set up and headed out, they were involved with the rehearsal tonight too.
No Weber Q just cooked up a couple Turkey burgers and fried onions, and added to a caesar salad I whipped up.this sure hit the spot |
Tomorrow the wedding at 4 pm and reception so will have another busy fun day.
Glad we were able to post a bit and you could drop in to check us out.
Good night!!!

LeRoy looks like a cute little city.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time at the wedding.
It is a very nice area around here. we will have fun.
DeleteI wouldn't think you would need to have the generator when you have solar power. Our generator hasn't worked now for about three years and we really haven't had to worry about it because we have the solar or we are plugged in.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun time at the wedding and I hope the weather cooperates.

WE only have one 130 watt panel and 2- 6 volt batteries works great when down south and sun is shining, But have had very cloudy skies, not charging enough in cloudy weather. And we do like to bookdock with no electrictity so does come in handy.
DeleteYou're back and forth across the border but at least you aren't going over your allotted time. Hope you have a great get together with family and friends.
ReplyDeleteWe keep a very close track of our time. so that we can do this.
