Where are we today ?
Its friday and we moving on down the road. Been here a week and have that itch again. The plan was to leave first thing this morning but my prescription will not be at the Pharmacy until noon. So we just putter around here and there a couple walkabouts and a bite to eat for lunch. Then hooked up and off to New Hamburg. Stopped at our drug dealer (Pharmacy) stocked up and away we go by 1:30pm. A beautiful quiet country drive for about 90 minutes.
love these quiet country roads |
We got to enjoy our books for a short while and then or friends Emile and Monique stopped by for Happy hour and catch up with things, solving many of the worlds problems in the process.
As we talked I fired up our Weber Q 100 to grill a nice chicken and an acorn squash for supper. It seems like quite a while since we have had a whole grilled chicken. Lotsa leftovers too.
perfect chicken on our Weber Q |
Then after we done were able to read a bit more out side with this amazing weather we are having.
Thats the end of another wonderful travel day (love travel days!) glad you could stop on by. We here about 6 days then on the road again.

You just moe from one nice spot to another. It's a good thing you have so many places you can park and still be so close to where you want to be.
ReplyDeleteThere is so many places to stay around here we inly use a few of them.
DeleteHm, your grill looks considerably cleaner than mine. I think I'd best get busy.
ReplyDeleteAll I do is preheat the grill and use my wire brush keeps it pretty clean for me.
DeleteI wish we had the same camping opportunities that you two do. We have two campgrounds in this area and both are way over priced for what you get. Honestly, that is one of the reasons we bought this little home. We didn't want to pay the outrageous prices. So one month was always our limit. Now we can stay at our own place and pay less per month than we did at the campground and have something to show for our money.
ReplyDeleteWe have so many opportunities here. Could even go seasonal if we wished, but are not ready to stay in one spot.
DeleteYour little home is nice glad you enjoy it.
I really like that country road photo you took , the first one.
ReplyDeleteThank you, such a nice drive too.
