Where are we today?

Wow even a better sleep last night, I guide Saturdays outing is catching up with us. I slept from 9 until 3 am, then tossing and turning for a bit. So like I did once before I call my amazing Nurse and requested toast with peanut butter on and glass of cold milk (3am) she promptly arrived with this for me and a few nibbles later this was down and I fell asleep. Almost like a sleeping pill.
Next thing I now it is 7:30 am change of shift for the nurses. Heck feels like I missed half my day already. So got some cereal juice and coffee, hopped in my wheel chair to get out of my room explore a bit and see what Micheal is doing in the kitchen. Some computing etc, and get ready for company, our Niece (Suzie's brother's daughter Stacey) and her family for a visit, They could not make it last Saturday but made a special effect today to visit, and so glad that they did.

A bit later Suzie headed home after a full relaxing day and my supper arrived a very good turkey sandwich with my salad on the side.
This was so very tasty and just enough
note the smaller plates here
And a huge Thank to to all of our friends that showed up there to wish us a long distance Merry Christmas, and wishing them all the best and Happy New year as well this was such a wonderful treat for us.
As well we would like to wish everyone else out there an early Merry Christmas too.
Soon gonna call it a night just because I can, think another good sleep recovering from our busy Saturday Christmas with family and rest up with another one too.

DeleteI like the looks of that turkey sandwich with all the gravy. Not so much the red and green stuff. Tomato soup sandwiches are a fav too. That BBQ is bigger than you are George so you may have to approach that big beast with caution. Nice again to see you outside soaking up some sunshine. Right nice of Bill to put that long distance Christmas together for you. People care.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the Hot Turkey sandwich with all that gravy too. It is a big BBQ I promise to be careful/ Being outside soaking up yje suns rays sure makes ya feel good. The tomato sandwich was good ,but not garden fresh, And we especially enjoyed the long distance get together with our friends.
