We have mail and got more things done with a very warm day.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Milder last night and rain, supposed to warm up later but rain all morning. So after coffees about 8 am a wet drive country drive on the paved roads into Plattsville. Stop by Pettigrew's garage chat few a few friends for a while and back home about an hour or so later, not great weather for playing outside yet.
yes we have mail !
a rainy drive to Plattsbiile this morning
Suzie has her new HP laptop pretty well set up again. After a few frustrating issues, but she is quite happy with it at least the monitor is working she does not have to deal with that issue anymore.
Soon time for a light lunch then Suzie is going with her Dad to a funeral home for visitation of someone they know. While she was gone we secured the coach and drove the 6 miles to Kropf's Kustom Collision for Barry to better assess the damage to our coach that he needs to repair. That was done. Should be good to go just need to get the go ahead from the insurance company. Then back home and set up again by 2 pm.
Large Turkey farms just down the road here
more turkey farms
A nice country drive with the coach to the body shop only 6 miles , glad we are not travelling far  with major winds today.
only a few miles down the road
A couple of pics of Dennis and Sandy's Dairy farm just down the road, Their son and DIL now live there milking etc and they still work there as well.
the home farm This where Suzie was raised
We have some sunshine this afternoon, the rain has stopped and did actually get up to 65 F (18C) , in the shade, wow love it, but the forecast for the weekend does not look good. guess we will take it as it comes. At least we don't need to travel with our coach anywhere until the weather clears up a bit. Bonus here we are in the bush lots of  sun and no wind here.
About 4 pm Sandy was home and we chatted with her a bit then home to whip up supper. Tonight gonna do a couple of Turkey Burgers for supper and really want to do them on our Weber Q. But, did not not set it up because  the weather for the next few days calls for very cold, rain, snow, freezing rain etc so not worth it for 2 burgers, oh pooh ! The fry pan works😞.
here we are in the bush and a wonderful warm sunny day
Soon I came home made our tasty salad and couple of turkey burgers, tasty yep , filling yep we had a feast and are now done for the day once again.
loaded burgers on an English muffin
Supper done in good time and still warm out so I took a nice walk down the road west from here hoping for a sunset. Nope nothing to see . Once I got to the end of the bush the cold wind hit me, ok time to turn around and head back home again
down to the end of the bush lot the the wind hit me
a nice walk back home and inside to call it a night
after a wonderful warm productive day.
Just another day enjoying our full-time lifestyle. Want to thank y'all for stopping on by and sure hope you had some decent weather wherever you may be.

  2. At least you warmed up a bit. Weather here is awful, terrible winds and parts of I-10 had to be closed because of blowing dust. Oh well life is like that sometimes

  3. Glad you're tucked away out of the wind. It sure does make a huge difference to the temperature. Probably why you're temperatures are warmer than Bill and Patsy's. Love the country side on your little outing. Stay warm and safe this weekend.

    1. We are very sheltered here and blocked from the wind. Plus when the sun is shining really warms up the area.
We are toasty warm and no where we need to go this weekend.

  4. The old saying is true, if you don't like the current weather, wait 5 minutes. Yesterday was one of those days. We got up to 21 last night at 6:30 when we arrived at Brenda's.
Nice you are sheltered for what is coming this weekend. We're tough, we'll grin and bear it! :)

  9. More great pictures of the area you are in.
At least any snow that may come usually goes away quickly at this time of the year. Plus, you are tucked in all safe and warm, as you said.
