But as the sun came up this morning I got a nice walkabout, yes cold , but no wind and just bundle up and enjoy this fresh morning air. It is invigorating.

Thanks the crossing was very easy like usual.
DeleteEz-Pz border crossing to what we have on the other side ... ARG! Welcome home! I'm sure it'll be good to catch the boys in a few hockey games and share your year's adventures with them. Was that card game euchre? Let me know if you need a sub ...
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff, hope we can catch a hockey game or 2 think they are mostly done. Yes they were playing euchre, Will keep you in mind for sure.
DeleteWelcome home to Canada, you had a great winter down south. Might have to wait a while for the nice weather. Have a good summer when it arrives.
ReplyDeleteThanks John you will probably get the nice weather before we do, but I know we all enjoy it when iy get here.
DeleteGlad you made it through Detroit and home safe and sound. We have been on I-94 in bumper to bumper more than once. Our son and his wife live off of I-94 in St. Clair Shores.
ReplyDeleteEvery time we have driven through Findlay, OH I have wondered the same thing...where are the flags. Great pictures of the reflections on the ponds by the way.
Looks like you had a very nice welcome home.
Thanks Deb, it was a good drive all the way home, easy crossing as usual and a nice welcome home too.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time catching up with family and friends and we will see you down the road.
Thanks Bill we will be enjoying our time here as we always do, and will catch up with you guys again as well.
DeleteGlad you made it home safely. The photo of Suzi and dad is super!
ReplyDeleteThanks fun times here as usual.

ReplyDeleteSuzie looks just a wee bit happy! :)
Enjoy!
Thanks Patsy, real spring soon would be wonderful.
DeleteYup Suzie she very Happy !
Thank goodness you have a good heater. I have a feeling you'll be using it for a while. No place in the winter/spring is like Arizona. We've discovered that too with the night time temperatures.
ReplyDeleteYes we do have an awesome heater, we quite comfy.
DeleteLove the southwest!
Glad you made it back safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteThanks safe travels to you as well.
DeleteWelcome home to good old frosty Ontario. Always a great feeling to be back safely in Canada again:))
ReplyDeleteThanks Al it sure is nice, but still to cold.
DeleteGlad you are back in Ontario. Hope the weather is not too cold, we will be back @ April 20th.
ReplyDeleteIt is cold but our Blue flame heater does an amazing job !
DeleteSausages must be a Canadian thing? I see you eat them all the time. Glad you made it home. Yup you can sure tell that's Suzie's dad. Amazingly, not too long ago I was right across the river from you. Small world.
ReplyDeleteCanadian farmers always lots of sausage. She happy to see him again that's for sure. It is a small world, just never know where we will meet up again.
DeleteWelcome home to Canada. I bet you are relieved, relaxed and happy and now will concentrate on the things you want to accomplish before setting for the summer. Hope all goes well. Wish the crossing into Canada would be so nice for us too. The Ambassador Bridge is almost falling apart and there are always a million trucks traveling over the reduced lanes as well as long lineups at the border. Enjoy your stay with the family.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marlene nice to be back home and visit with friends and family again., Not much traffic for us coming into Canada usually here at Port Huron/Sarnia.
DeleteWelcome home. Hopefully Ontario warms up quickly as it should. Always nice to see family again.
ReplyDeleteSuzie sure is smiling a lot in those pictures. Enjoy your time there.
Thanks Deb should warm up soon for us, Always have fun here.
DeleteSo far it sounds as if most have had easy border crossings, hope it continues for all. What a nice place to spend a bit of time and what a wonderful dinner. ReplyDeleteYup we all happy to get together again, Heck its only cold soon it will warm up again.
DeleteGlad you made it home safely but too bad about the one ding - hopefully a not too expensive a repair.
ReplyDeleteWe home safely , our insurance will cover most of it so not a big problem we hope.
