Hookup up our car to hit the road about 9:30, Bill and Patsy came over to give us hugs and see ya on down the road. Patsy gifted us with a couple of wonderful slices of her homemade Banana, nut bread she baked yesterday. Patsy it is so tasty we will nibble on this for a couple of days, thanks so much !

ReplyDeleteSo many places to explore and see. love the southwest. Thanks for coming along.
DeleteWe love that area, we've stayed at Hickiwan but Coyote Howls is even better.
ReplyDeleteWe stayed in the wash last year and loved it, thought we would check this place out and really like it, love the price.
DeleteWe stayed at the Coyote Howls West while we were in Why earlier this month. We enjoyed our stay in the area as I am sure you will also.
ReplyDeleteWe explored the area last year and loved it, Coyote Howls East Is a very unique campground in the desert.
DeleteFor some reason I thought you had full hook ups at Pilot Knob, but I see you had to dump at Gila Bend.
ReplyDeleteYou might see some wild Donkeys there. They have a book exchange too.

We dumped at Gila Bend to give our back water tank a good cleaning with fresh water and Calgon.
DeleteWe keep an eye out for the donkeys here as well as explore the campground and area a bit more.
We always wondered WHY someone would stay in WHY. However, you did find great place to stay for nearly nothing.
ReplyDeleteLove the area in the desert her that's WHY. This is like boon docking for $40.00 a week with lots of cool perks.
DeleteYou really found a great spot there!! I am just amazed at the prices. Full hookups in the area where we are go for $500 on up to $650. Thanks for the heads up on this campground.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had an "uneventful" driving day!!
We will enjoy it here, no hookups but we are good to boondocks for 2 weeks, solar and generator if needed and just love the very huge campsites. #130.00 a month here. $550.00 a year.
