Fix the water pump again , think I found the problem and a wonderful sunny warm day.

 Where are we today ?
cisi on a pic to enlarge it

We are really enjoying this wonder desert dirt we call home for the winter months. Early morning walkabouts the desert gives us some amazing desert sunrises.
almost every  day a sunrise like this
When Suzie got up our water pump was not working again! Hmm  back to the drawing board again. Checking out the issue looks like another bad wire connection. I figured out that the pressure regulator  connections were not good. So with my old pump that we replace in 2009 i was able to replace that part and now all seems to working perfectly. We will see, lets give it time.
replaced this part
now works great
our old spare pump does not
need this  part to work
for what we use it for
After lunch I went down to Tyson Wells to find a new apron for me that Gerry and Melinda saw the other day. Need a new one after over 20 years with my old dirty one.
cool bicycle  here with a gas motor
One of the nice things about hanging out with these 3 other couples is that we all have our own space pretty well every day. We do what we want and enjoy the great weather here, so do our own thing and get together for  a social (happy hour) at about 3 pm every day.  We can all do what works for us and have our space. Naps, reading and walkabouts on or own or with each other.
Tuckr loves his cjaot/table
I check out Tyson  Wells and found a new apron. Souvenir of Quartzsite, sure saves my clothes.
me and my are apron
This is Quartzite
in the middle of nowhere
The other day I was at the Roadrunner Market in town and picked up this Rib Eye steak on special. Now it has been a very long time the since we had a steak . But heck for .94 cents I could not turn it down.
tonight's supper
Around 3 pm, our usual happy hour (social time) to connect with our friends here. Share our stories and a few laughs.
Then home to whip up supper, baked potato , fresh mushrooms and onions in foil and a very tasty Rib eye steak done to perfection and so  tender . What a rare teat we had.
ok that was it for our day
Once again thanks for stopping on by.

Where have we been this Winter

  3. What a deal on the rib eye steak. We had a rib steak last night but certainly paid more than you did. However, not so bad when you consider we split it and Buck got the bone!

    1. We split this steal as well. But when Buck got the bone that was a bonus too.

  5. I guess you got your money's worth out of that old apron. 20 years? Bet it could stand up by itself...

  6. Sometimes we have to fix things two or three times! Good for you for sticking with the problem. At least there are lots of new ones available near you if you do eventually need one. Our 2005 motorhome is on it's third water pump.
