Another great desert day. Had some amazing sunshine until about 2 pm but the SW winds with gusts to 30 mph sure did weird things with the temperature . Felt cool but was actually 62 f most of the day. And no rain as the weather gods had predicted. Now that makes for a pretty decent day.
My first chore today was to take our tow bar to the Roadmaster service area by the big tent to have it cleaned and inspected as we like to do every year. Was there for 8 am and was all done in 15 minutes, no charge. looks like we good to go for another year.

Back home the sun is shining and wonderful . but the wind gusts up to 30 mph were not fun. Batteries fully charge before noon and all is wonderful here
Got some wonderful reading done outside, protected from the wind in front of our coach. It was not cold just a cool wind.
Reinstalled our tow bar and now we happy and good to go again.
good to go again, towing our car |
most of our day the sky looked like this |

Where have we been this Winter ?
Today was a much better weather day for us. Rain stopped and the sun came out. I remember how I hated windy days in our MH. It would sometime sound like the roof was blowing off. I hope you guys have sunny days and not so much wind the rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteAnother great meal☺!!
Thanks he weayher forecast is looking good again. No rain , no wind, and lotsa sunshine.
DeleteNo matter how warm the day is with the sun shining, if that wind is blowing like that it's still not fun. The good thing is you know better days are ahead. Enjoy yourselves.
ReplyDeleteI did fund a sunspot out of the wind so was actually pretty nice for quite a while.
DeleteWe took our tow bar to Roadmaster also. They did a great job. And on time too.
ReplyDeleteJim and Sandie are a wonderful, fun couple.
It is nice they provide the free service, for their customers.
DeleteJim and Sandie are a supper couple.
I need to service my tow bar. Supper looks delicious - we are quesadilla fans.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to get the tow bar checked out whenever we can by the people who built them. The quesadilla was delicious and nice treat.
DeleteThe weather gods were right for a change? Hard to fathom! :cD
ReplyDeleteYes they are pretty well right on.
DeleteGood job on maintaining your tow bar. But then you are on top of maintaining everything on your RV, so many don't. Here's hoping that perfect weather conditions find their way to you ASAP.
ReplyDeleteThanks Contessa, I do like to keep on top of things rather than wait until they break.
DeleteGood to see you. Today looks like a much nicer day with no wind. Thank goodness. We'll stay longer next time.
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful to see you guys as well, si if you around drop by again.
DeleteLuckily, we had no big winds in Yuma yesterday. Unfortunately, I was in the Jeep all day running around Yuma. At least there was no rain and the rest of the week is pure sunshine!
ReplyDeleteThe ret of the week will be awesome, gotta love it.
DeleteAnother nice day in the desert, and another wonderful dinner.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter, the days are getting much nicer.
