What another great desert day. Cooler last night and overcast most of the day but heck we can handle that no problem. We have a nice moon setting, almost a full moon , Not a great picture but maybe you get the idea. The almost clear skies with no light pollution here makes it amazing.
Last night our water pump quit about 7 pm. Hmm. Not gonna work on it until the morning we always have water on board so not an issue. Hey we dry camping, this is what we do.
About 8 am I checked out the water pump situation, Fiddled a bit, and looks like a loose wire connection. Remove the pump undid the connections and re installed it seems to work just fine now . Suzie had a shower no problem. The pump is only 5-6 years old so should still be good and looks like it is.
Over to visit with Gerry and Tucker for a bit while Melinda went shopping, And Suzie got to play with Tucker for a while.

About noon we were invaded by Rob, Pat, Bill and Patsy . They came to join us here for a bit after leaving Imperial Dam LTVA. Not too far south of us. We had hopped to stop there for a few days, but life got in the way,

A nice relaxing afternoon enjoying our e-readers and even a short time in the sun with shorts and t-shirts. But the overcast skies and only 65f we added a few more clothes. Happy hour at 3 pm and a light drizzle at Gerry and Melinda's, no problem awing open and we good . Always lots of laughs and friendly conversation for a while then as we cooled down head to our homes to whip up supper.

I fired up our Weber Q as the un was setting to grill a nice bone in chicken breast I picked up today at the Roadrunner market.

That was it for another desert day for us, just the way we like them relaxing and not too cold.

Where have we been this Winter
It's nice to reconnect again with you guys. We missed you at Imperial Dam but life does do that to us.

DeleteMaybe, if I hung around with you two, I wouldn't lose so much weight. With just me and Yuma, I many times forget to eat dinner. Or, maybe, I'm just too lazy to fix any.
ReplyDeleteYa never know Doug. With the food we eat and the portions I have lost 50 lbs and can now maintain it. I would eat fairly regular even by myself., cause I love cooking.
