Where are we today
clic a pic to enlarge it
Yesterday we began our day with another wonderful Arizona sunrise for our sendoff as we headed to the Phoenix airport. Got there, checked in and hung out waiting for our flight back to Toronto. Departing and arriving 20 minutes late. Got a shuttle for our rent a car, up graded to a nice Nissan sentra . Headed to our Daughter's in Aurora and was welcomed by everyone about 9:30 local time. Snacks and catching up, then off to bed for a good night's sleep.

Today did a bit of running around town here for a few items, looking for some dress clothes for me. Hmm. Son In law had a bag full of things he was purging that I was welcome to check out, Guess what I found a wonderful suit and dress shirt that actually fit me! Picture on another posting with a real nice suit.
They have a new addiction to their family Fergie a 10 week old Goldendoodle. What a fun puppy they have here and quiet playful.

Where have we been this Winter
Sorta makes you really appreciate the Q weather! :c)
ReplyDeleteI have always appreciated the winter weather in the Q. much better than here.
DeleteAurora is obviously not in the snowbelt! Good start for your grandson's blog.
ReplyDeleteNot as much snow as you have there and you are not that far away.
DeleteEnjoy your Mother's Celebration of Life. Hope you will be back in Quartzsite before too long.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe!
It's about time.
We will be back there very shortly.
DeleteI love taking photos from the plane. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat Salmon fillet looks delicious.
If we have to fly it is nice to take some pictures from up in the air for a change.
DeleteThe salmon was wonderful.
I like taking pictures out of the window of a plane. Well, that's when I actually get a window seat. It sure looks cold up that way. I agree with the Weavers in that the salmon sure looks good.
ReplyDeleteA window seat is what I enjoy too. And the pictures always fun.
DeleteGlad you made it home okay - definitely a weather shock. That salmon filet looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteYes to cold is COLD. Sure don't miss it. Yes the salmon was awesome.
DeleteEven though you always have loved the southwest temps, it must be 100% nicer after a quick trip back home to the northern cold and snow! See you soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, no matter what it is there in the southwest, it is better than here back home !
