Where are we today ?
Ok now we have been at the farm for a week and getting itchy feet already. Getting stuff done and all, but still need another week or so before we can move away.
Nice sunrise this morning but still a bit chilly. This is the view below out the front windshield of our coach, so peaceful and nice blue skies, gotta love it. Wide open spaces.
gotta love it here, but soon time to move on for a while |
I made a quick trip to town for a few supplies and renew my driver's licence. It's that time again when our government wants more of our money. Couple weeks a new licence plate sticker for our coach, more money again, but hey we have free health care.
the front porch is calling us |
Then on the south side of the house we have the mini daffodils coming to life , so nice and colorful .
We made a quick trip to town to visit a couple friends and on the way home stopped by to chat with Suzie's Gramma. She is doing amazing for 97 years young, looking good, eating well, sleeping well and in good health, she has a lot to be thankful for she tells us. Her table partner is a you 102 years old! And really enjoyed our visit with gramma.
Back home in time to whip up supper tonight, Pacific Salmon fillets in a dill sauce, with brown rice, caesar salad and some mixed veggies.

put it all together and we have a tasty meal |
Any who, the weather is getting better, sunshine and snow gone for now. Don't much like wearing long pants and a sweater, but kinda have to do that right now.
Would like to thank you's for stopping in again for a peak, we are awesome and hope you are too.
Check out the map below to see where we have been this summer

God Bless Gramma and her table partner. I am sure she can tell a story or two.
ReplyDeleteShe sure does have some interesting stories too.
DeleteHmmm....I live on the Pacific Ocean and I love the look of those Salmon fillets. I think I'd better go down to our local fish store tomorrow to see what I can come up with!
ReplyDeleteVery tasty salmon, we would eat more if we lived on the coast, I am sure yours will be much better.
DeleteThat view is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat salmon looked yumm!
Looks like you have all the basis covered!
WOW....97 and 102!
Works good for us.
DeleteSince I haven't been reading your post for all that long is there your home? I wasn't sure if you still owned a house of not? So then you stay in Canada for the summer and then come back into the states for the winter? Sorry for all the questions.
ReplyDeleteThis farm is where Suzie was raised s a child, belongs to her brother. We can park here for a while when in the area and visit with family. No house, that went away seven years ago. We just need to be in Ontario for 5 months a year for our government health care. But United States only allows us 6 months a year to be there. We have one month that we can be somewhere else. If we wish.
DeleteThanks for the reply and filling me in. Now it makes more sense when I read the blog. I couldn't figure out about the dog, Omar. Now I do. I learned something, didn't know you had to be there 5 months for your health care. Great that you have 2 countries for your home :)
DeleteSure some beautiful days this week on the farm, you will be back in your shorts before you know it. Your salmon dish looked delicious. Have a great Thursday!
ReplyDeleteShorts soon I hope! Maybe another week or two.
DeleteThat dinner looks very gourmet. I broke out the pants yesterday. In Eugene Oregon this morning about to head further north.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about gourmet but was very tasty.
DeleteNot liking long pants anymore either!
