Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
More sunshine and warm weather, a nice comfortable 80f (27c). Coffees and computing, walkabouts and bike riding, chatting with neighbours and a bit of a drive to the
H.E.B. grocery store for stuff. And the Ace hardware for new batteries for Suzie's calculator, the last time they were replaced was twenty years and she uses it daily!

After the shopping I enjoy the five mile drive along Fulton Beach road back to the resort.

The ocean, the fish markets, the shrimp boats and restaurants makes it an scenic drive.

Back home puttering around, some biking and walking then to relax a bit and enjoy our books for a while. Then around 4:00 pm "Happy Hour" evolved once again this time at Bill and Carol's lot, 4 sites away from us. Since yesterday one couple has departed, but another more joined the group, hmm now we have more names to try and remember. Chatting, snacking, sharing a lot of stories and of course almost anyone who has been doing this for a while has a story about sewage problems and messes. Carol has is making a quilt and brought this out to show us, very interesting Beatles theme, nice work.

Then as the sun begins setting in the west, we return home at a decent time tonight to have a nice supper, some of our canned garlic sausage, boiled potatoes, sauerkraut and a mini cob of corn.
