Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
Monday and a new week is beginning. It starts off with thunder, lightning, and heavy rain not real nice. The forecast says its supposed to do this all day, so we plan for that. Laze around computing, coffee and chatting we establish a plan for the day. To the store for some supplies, gonna make some pecan tarts this afternoon after lunch and after laundry. I pulled into the parking lot at the store and looked out my window, about two feet away was a bird on this tire picking food out of the tread, wonder how he knew?

Well by the time I began the laundry the rain had stopped, so I sat in the sun reading a bit until that chore was completed. Then home to make the minnie tarts. By this time the skies are clear and its getting hotter, time for us to be outside not baking. The weather fooled us again, it starts off raining and supposed to rain all day, now the sun comes out, can never count of the weather. So we suffered and got the tarts done, then sat outside, but not until 4:30 p.m. We will just have supper later, after all it doesn't get dark until after 7. Priorities, the sun is shinning we have to sit outside, supper will come later.
Finally for supper I had taken spaghetti sauce out of the freezer and whipped up some tasty spaghetti and a salad, we even planned our meal around a rainy day.

The nice thing about the rain was that it washed all of the yellow pollen that has been settling on the car and our coach, and cleaned up the air a bit. Also we got an email from a friend looks like we may have company tomorrow!
