Still warm but not so sunny wrap up a few things before heading out in the morning.

Where are we today ?

Well we set our clocks back last night before going to bed to be in turne  for daylight savings time. Get an extra hours sleep? Hmm not me instead of waking at 4:30 I woke up at 3:30 am. My internal clock did not turn back. No problem I still got a good night's sleep.
and enjoyed another nice sunrise here this morning
Nice to see the sunrise earlier and I got my first walkabout earlier as well. Then we both had long hot showers and Suzie sorted laundry. I got that done only $1:50 to wash or dry. That taken care of then a light tasty lunch, more soup . Outside to putter around another couple of walkabouts, check tire pressures and oil , then dumped our sewage tanks, disconnect our water hose. We heading out in the morning.
Now  to relax outside reading for a while enjoying this wonderful warm weather 70F much warmer in the sun. But then the sun went away, overcast for the rest of the day even though it was 72f felt much cooler with the east wind.
this afternoon's skies
I finished a Robert Crais book and got right into the next one in the series. Do enjoy the adventures of Elvis Cole (detective) and his silent partner Joe Pike these guys are characters. But get things done.
another page turner I got right into today
Now for supper tonight I have some baby back ribs I picked up on sale. So onto our Weber Q with sauerkraut  for a couple of hours. For that recipe you can click HERE  or my recipe blog top right sidebar.
then glaze them on the grill mat,
oh so tasty and fall off the bone tender
acorn squash is in foil
Wanted to have supper a bit earlier, because now to gets dark by 6 pm, And want to stow our Weber Q so we don't have to do that in the morning.
Ribs. kraut, squash and salad
sure filled the bill tonight
This is the last day here at Southern trails that we always enjoy, and heading on down the road in the morning towards the gulf coast for a few weeks.
Thanks for dropping on by today, our day was relaxing and hope yours was as well.

  5. Nice thing about being retired and not tied to clocks is that changing them doesn't have to have an impact on us.

  8. I think this is the first year I've been able to adjust very easily to the time change. Not sure why, but I'm glad.
Those ribs sound great. We'll have to give them a try. Checked out your recipes a few days ago. I saw several that sounded really good that I plan to try.

  11. We did not bother to change our time as we are here in the new time zone for only two more days. Why change when we are already on the time zone we will be on all winter?
