What wonderful sleep we had on a very mild night windows open 60F overnight . And a wonderful colourful sunrise this morning. We are in the perfect spot for that.these were taken right outside our dining room window |
nice pool but not heated so too cold at this time of year for us. |
love this wagon at the entrance |
a nice 9 hole mini golf here too |
love the flags here at the entrance |
I searched a few minutes and found a few pecans will keep looking for more. |
Temps this afternoon got to 82 f but overcast with winds and a storm waning . But we did get some nice relaxing readying outside for a couple of hours until the predicted rain hit us at 3:40 pm wind gusts to 50 mph, so we secured our outside stuff and headed inside. No Weber Q tonight as I had hopped. But not a big deal we can cook inside.
this be the place were are at, large sign on I-75 |
So nice to enjoy this wonderful very warm day even though not sunny but 82F until the storm arrived. Then very quickly cooled down to 65 f and the rains came heavy for a while and the winds let up.
we did enjoy the fresh air and warm temps outside for a couple of hours |
the storm is on it's way and minutes later arrived we all secured and inside |
just heat up a bit, so moist and tasty did the trick |
Now a treat for us, we got to enjoy some great pictures of our Granddaughter #3 getting ready for Halloween, not quite a year old yet her very first one. Modelling some funky costumes her mom (daughter #2) has for her. Really I have to share these just because, she is such a doll and we are too proud (can you tell?). Always love her expressions and happy faces.
I think she probably went out trick or treating with her 3 older brothers but not sure what she wore, anyone would have been perfect.
Yes we had a fun day, and these pics make us miss the grands even more , but at least we can enjoy the pictures as they are having fun.
Thanks for dropping by today and really hope you had some decent weather wherever you may be.

DeleteGD#3 will be a princess, regardless of the costume she chooses. Another nice park in your membership.
ReplyDeleteYes Jeff she is a princess love her wonderful expressions. This is a nice membership park in a convenient area that we enjoy.
DeleteThanks for the tour of Southern Trails. We'll be staying there for a week or so over US Thanksgiving. Sounds like we should ask for a site away from the Interstate and your corner lot looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of your Grand daughter. SO cute!
The sites are first come first served, we go lucky here, lots of interesting things to see as we have toured many times in the past.
DeleteAll the costumes are so cute and so is she. The duck and unicorn are really adorable and that smile is a big winner.
ReplyDeleteThanks JO they are all adorable, then the eyes and the smile, love it!
DeleteThe grand babies are adorable in their costumes.
ReplyDeleteAs you probably know, Hurricane Michael (coming out of the Gulf of Mexico) took out a lot of pecan orchards around that area; pecan trees have shallow roots, and the high winds easily toppled them. Thus, this year at Christmas I will be paying a lot more for pecans to toast and for Christmas recipes. Every little bit you can find under trees will be like finding gold for a few years.
By the way, they have rodeos in Unadilla; never been to one personally, but that may account for the horse trailers around the arena.
Thanks Dee are looks like rodeos there next to the campground. I will be looking for more pecans before we leave.
DeleteLooks like a pretty nice park. Even with the rain the weather sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is adorable!
