Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Much warmer last night 54F at 5 am and some rain happening.. Did get a nice 1 miles walk down the country road and back before the drizzle started. Keeping busy on another drizzly fall day
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends
Then at 9 am I went in the house to boil the turkey bones from yesterday and make a tasty broth for soup. That I will make maybe next week. Then sliced up the turkey into 2 pans, to reheat on Monday for my family.
white meat on the right, dark meat on the left
At 1:15 this afternoon Hockey game in Plattsville for Grandson #4. That we are able to attend.
it was a foggy drive to Plattsville
this be him # 87
I got to sit beside granddaughter # 3 and enjoy her wonderful smiles and expressions
she is wearing and  AMBER necklace makes her
eething much easier and always a happy baby.
The game was fast moving and our grandson scored the second goal in the first few minutes of the game , what a great goal it was too.
Grandson # 1 put his knee out on Thursday at the game but is recovering  quickly as I suspected he would He has knee brace and walk pretty good. He is a time keeper for these games as well and was here most of the day doing his job. He will not play in a practice at 2:30 today but will be going to work at 4:30 in the dairy barn where he has a partime job. Nice to see him busy and not afraid to work at his young age of 14.
grandson # 1 is on the right in the booth
the game was very fast paced but they were defeated,
they do have another game at 5:30 today
with the same team in St. George, but we can't make it
Next we had prepped 2 of the 3 chickens for Dennis and Sandy this morning, getting ready for our Thanksgiving feast here tomorrow,  Sunday. We will have 2 feasts in 2 days (oh my) moderation? I will try.
Back home after the game, I will strain the soup bones and freeze the broth. Take the chickens apart and separate, similar to the way I did my Turkey.
Turkey broth cooling  waiting to seal the freezer bags
de boning 2 chickens.one to cook more tomorrow
hey that's me !
somebody grabbed my camera
lotsa meat from 2 chicken cook another in the morning
Now the Rutabaga was all cut up yesterday and was boiled until tender for tomorrow.
Rutabaga all cooked and whipped with butter, brown sugar  salt and pepper
in the slow cooker to heat up tomorrow

Suzie and Sandy pealed about 50 red potatoes for tomorrow as well
Heck about 4 pm I went back to the coach for some stuff and the sun was shining and it was 70 F outside !wow we having a heat wave and sunshine. But it did not last long and we had no time to enjoy it right now.
the sunshine was so welcome
I was making a salad for supper tonight then gonna grill some Turkey Garlic sausage with a salad for the 4 of us. And Sandy is making some fried rice to go with it.
love this Turkey garlic sausage
this sure hit the spot tonight, very tasty
Back home by 6 pm and we had a huge downpour for about 10 minutes, But was nice under our awning. We can enjoy this very mild weather now still 65F at 7:45pm outside posting this blog and reading. Gotta love it.
Hope y'all are have a good weekend wherever you are and our Canadian friends enjoying a safe  Thanksgiving  weekend as well with family and friends.
