Where are we today ?

Another mild night and great sleep. Up and ready for another busy day. First thing a nice quiet walk down the road and back about a mile or so. Then gonna have a shower. Hmm not right, now our propane hot water tank did not heat up? It would fire up then quit after 5 seconds. So and old standby trick I learned years ago. Get my air compressor out and blow through the bottom where the burner is and the top a few times. Now turned it on and fired right up, could have been cobwebs, spiders or some dirt. Not matter it works fine now. Nice easy fix. Then into the house about 8 :30 am to put the 3rd chicken in the oven today, turn on the slow cooker to heat up the mashed Rutabaga, slice up the cold chicken from yesterday and get ready to make gravy. Boil the 2 pots of potatoes and whip them up. Just puttered a bit while Suzie` and Sandy set the tables and silverware out , punch made, corn on to cook, and odds and ends getting ready for the Thanksgiving crowd of 27 to arrive around noon with their pot luck contributions to round out the meal.

Tomorrow we head to my daughter's in Aurora to do it all over again with my family only about 16 of us though. To celebrate our Thanksgiving, a few birthdays and Christmas just because we can.
That was our fun Thanksgiving today, not great weather for being outside but at least no too cold. Hope y'all had a great day doing whatever and all our Canadian friends celebrating on this long weekend we can enjoy. And travel safely wherever you go.
Thanks for joining us today.
