Car repairs, sunshine, lawn mowing and enjoy this sunshine.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
It was a great night for sleeping again, cold and refreshing just the way we love it! Up at 5 am and 45f outside, 52f inside time to fire up our blue flame heater. Not much time for a walkabout  took the car to Pettigrew's garage for 8 am for some needed repairs. But on the way I got a nice country drive enjoying a wonderful sunrise.
what a nice bright sunrise
cool skies this morning
Now at Pettigrews for 8 am and today Mike is doing the repairs, First was the left rear wheel cylinder that is leaking.
top centre it does not look good
in no time that was replaced
next was our fuel filter
then the tie rod end, they ended up doing both sides
Now with this done lets get a wheel alignment. This new technology for this stuff amazes me , All computerized . Tells them exactly what to do, Love that I can watch these guys here do their stuff.
this computer tells what needs to be done
and you can see as Mike does adjustments
In 2 hours I was back home to whip up a tasty light lunch on a wonderful sunny  but a cold day .
After lunch a quick drive to New Hamburg for a few items at the No Frills. And was so nice to run into old friends from Plattsville from many years ago. Maizie and Harvey. Chatted with them for quite a while.
a nice country drive to New Hamburg
Then back to Camp Awesome to mow the last 1/3rd of this yard just over an acre only takes me about an hour .The last grass cutting here for this year. So glad I got it done before we leave and on a nice dry sunny day.

our coach is the tiny white spot lower center
Back home done most of my work, store our Weber Q, Roll up our awning so we can get sunshine for heat. Then a nice long hot shower.  Love our Blue flame Heater, moved it by the shower so it was toasty warm there. Uses so little propane and quiet we love it!Our 80 lb propane tank can last us a month or more even using our fridge , stove, hot water and BBQ on propane , so nice. But we do keep a kitchen window open 1/ 2 inch for fresh air and reduce the humidity that can built up with this style of heater. We replaced our Mr Heater last winter after 11 years of good service with this Blue Flame below. More money yes but so worth it when we are dry camping with no hookups.  Thermostat on it, just set the temperature we like and it does the rest. Most of the year.
our blue Flame heater
love it, our own fireplace, silent efficient heat
After a long hot shower outside in the sunshine for a while to enjoy our e-readers,  What great day only 54F.but we have sunshine and mostly out of the wind.
just dress a bit warmer and was wonderful
Soon time to whip up supper. Tonight a couple of Turkey Garlic sausages , salad and acorn squash,(done in the microwave) to go with our tasty salad.
nicer on the Weber Q but this is nice too
very tasty supper hit the spot tonight
That was our day wrapping up a few loose ends here, only one more relaxing day here before we heading on out exploring and searching for sunshine and warmer temps.
Thanks again for joining us and hope y'all had wonderful day as well.
