Wow it is really cooling down 56F at 6 am. Chilly but also refreshing. Got some computing and coffees consumed then into New Hamburg for a few food items and the license sticker for Suzie's car. The sticker was a quick in and out no lineup,3 minutes later all done and $120. 00 paid to the government.Back home I cut up our large 5 lb pork loin roast I picked up the other day for $6.47. Froze a roast for us and 2 pork chops. And a 3 lb roast in the slow cooker with potatoes, onions and carrots for tonight's supper. for the 3 of us.
My slow cooker was not big enough so I used a larger one of Sandy's and set it on low for 8 hours.
Sandy's large slow cooker did the trick for a larger meal |
I took some gas for the mower and go to work. well not really work, playing on the mower |
just mowed form here to the tree line |
going round and round until it was all done |
loving the sunny skies and corn fields next door |
And while out here watched this tractor going back and forth most of the day, large tanks of liquid manure he must be spreading somewhere, we don't smell it though.
sounds like train going down the road |
Suzie cleaning up the mounted puzzle before the glue dries. |
another nice puzzle |
this pork is so tasty and tender |
some apple sauce and we were well fed. lotsa leftovers too |
Thsnksfor taking a peak again and hope y'all had a great day and enjoy a nice safe Labor day weekend, wherever you are.

Where have we been this summer?
It takes us YEARS! to do a jigsaw puzzle. Guess we just lack the attention span required. Glad to see the completed works are being preserved for bragging rights.
ReplyDeleteBTW the lawn look great!
Thanks Jeffmgot to done before the rains.
DeleteI have nut done a puzzle for a very long time. don't have a place to lay one out anymore in the rv.
He does enjoy doing them though, then built the frames and mount them is part of the fun too.
Godh, CB handles. Talk about a walk down memory lane, I was "Wingnut" because I rode a Honda Goldwing back them. :c)
ReplyDeleteSo many fun memories of those days. Wingnut is a good handle as well.
DeleteGOLY! Fat fingers strike again! :cO
ReplyDeleteHey, bet I make more typos than you!
DeleteI like your "handle". Mine was Misfit.
ReplyDeleteThanks our CB handles did have a tendency to sink with our personalities.
DeleteI tried a puzzle once in the RV. It made a pretty big mess when I had to move on down the road. Never thought of gluing and framing them. Those look very nice!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy..
DeleteI can imagine the mess a puxle you make travelling down the road.
That is a fine looking meal. I think I might need an 8' mower for that grass. Wow on your tag renewal- ours is $25 and I think it's the same for the MH.
ReplyDeleteThanks Larry it was very tasty.
DeleteAn 8' mower would be nice but not so much for some of the tight areas.
The renewals keep going up here in expensive Canada, but we do have "FREE" health care.
I want those puzzle pictures!! LOL..What a great job and the right color of tractor too! We love our Farmalls. Dinner looks so awesome too and such little work involved! Hope Sandy is doing well and will be home soon!
ReplyDeleteHe is having fun with them and tractors have to be Red, because they now have red Case tractors on the farm.
DeleteDinner was excellent we really enjoyed it and lotsa leftovers.
Sandy is doing well and home today.
The puzzles look like they would be great to do. They'll look great in frames.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good day again and a nice meal.
Puzzles can be a lot of fun as you well know. And framing them is another part of the projects that keep him busy. Along with enjoy his Kobo we got him for Christmas.
DeleteA fun hobby for Suzie's Dad. Never thought of framing them.
ReplyDeleteHe does enjoy doing the tractor puzzles and would like to keep them. So making the frames and mounting them does it.
