Wow did we have a good night's sleep! Restful rain showers all night and I can't believe it I slept until 7 am. It is so rare that Suzie asked me this morning if I was ok? Hmm guess I needed it finally.After the coffee and computing for a bit a nice walkabout the resort. Stopped by to say so long for now with our good friends Bill and Barb as they are packing up and heading back home to New York.
Then I headed into Forest for a few groceries and to the Reserve at Kettle point to fill the car and our spare gas can with gas only $116.9 a litre better than the $1.30 around here. Still raining and windy most of the day so our awning stayed secured.
After light tasty lunch I went to the wonderful fitness centre here for a good workout. It's been a while and I have missed it.

For that amazing recipe that Liz did the other day it is called a Dreamisicle Salad ( not a Creamsicle as I had thought) and she found it on Facebook. she said all you have to do is a search on Facebook and there it is , she actually doubled it for this amazing desert.

DeleteIt was very tasty and light , I loved it.
Does the exercise room ever get busy?, Or do you select the quiet times? Lots of nice equipment in there. Another great looking BBQ.
ReplyDeleteI try to go at the quiet times.A lot of local people that don't camp have bought memberships for the fitness centre and pool. It is busier after work in the evenings. even early mornings a few people go. 3 people cam in after I was there about 3 minutes.
DeleteWhat a great fitness center. Nice you get to use it too. I love friendly puppies. Tucker sure looks like a happy one!! Beautiful turkey ... that's one I haven't tried. Maybe next week.

ReplyDeleteThanks the fitness centre is awesome. This is a very nice campsite large green area behind us, overlooking the valley and no campers beside our patio, just the nice wall of a cabin with no windows.

Perfect weather and great gas prices, you quite the life. We remain smoked in but the good news is that fuel dropped to 140.0. Maybe we should move to Ontario! However it would difficult to give up our lake lot.
ReplyDeleteYes Contessa the weather here is usually not to bad. You can buy some wonderful lakefront properties on the great lakes but they sure are not cheap. amazing areas here to explore as well. We do love it here mostly farmland.
