Where are we today

Saturday already, where does the time go? And its gonna be another wonderful day. After coffees and computing a bit I did a quick trip to the grocery store at 7:30 am to pick up a few things for supper tonight.
Then we head back down to the London Bridge to take the Ferry across the lake to Havasu Landing Casino in California.. Not to go to the casino but just to take the 15 minute boat ride across the lake for 2 dollars each return. Cheaper than the lake cruises at $20 each.
First thing I did was take a picture of these Lions. According to
Anna of the Mutton Years, they are still around the financial district of London England. Thanks for the info Anna.

Hey that's us! |
Another fun day here in Havasu City Arizona with more amazing weather, only got to 78f today, but mostly sunny , we will take it. Think we will head on down the road in the morning , maybe, a bit further south and more desert would be wonderful, we are craving it !
Thanks for stopping on by, hope you enjoyed your day too.
Where have we been this Winter
Looks like you had an exciting day in a warmer climate than we are in. Soon we'll be heading in the same direction for the warmth.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
No complaints here about the nice weather, will be cooling down soon though.
DeleteAlways fun to look at big engines, but man oh man, I sure wouldn't want to "feed" one of them. And who wants to go that fast on the water? Truly scary.
ReplyDeleteYou said it Bob, fuel cost and that fast on the water, with very scary.
DeleteThe ferry ride looks like a lot of fun. What a gorgeous day to take the ride.
ReplyDeleteBoy did some people put some money into painting those boats. At least you would be able to see them on the water.
It was a perfect day for all this fun. The money for the paint snd the engines, plus fuel costs makes it a very expensive hobby. They do look wonderful though.
DeleteJust a heads up...I just read another blog where the people are in the Lake Havasu area. They went to the Lake Havasu Wildlife Preserve. It looks beautiful. Just in case you are looking for something else to do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, maybe another time, the desert is calling us...
DeleteDidn't know they had a copy of our lighthouse at Lake Havasu.
ReplyDeleteI guess its fairly new, there is quite a few all around the shores here.
DeleteI love the photo of you two.
ReplyDeleteThanks, a rare one.
DeleteWe rode the boat out to the casino and then turned around and rode it right back. The casino wasn't worth staying at anyway. Enjoy !
ReplyDeleteThat's what we thought too, but the boat ride was nice.
DeleteI grew up in Lake Havasu. I lived there from 1967 (5 yrs old) until 1980 (18 years old). It sure was a fun place to grow up. Your pictures bring back a lot of memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us Jeff, it is a fun place.
DeleteThe difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. Dinner looks awesome. Great picture of you two.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter it was very tasty.
DeleteGuess I am still a boy, too pricey for me.
A fun day on the water and a fun time looking at all of those cool toys.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was a fun day.
DeleteIt is so nice to see that you are enjoying Lake Havasu City, AZ! I enjoy being there, when I visit my cousin who lives there. Enjoy! Blessings, Lynn
ReplyDeleteThaNKS Lynnie we really enjoyed our time there.
