Where are we today

We are adjusting to the 4 hour time change and gonna have a relaxing day, not going too far today.
So got a few nice walkabouts the park. Love the early mornings when the sunrises now before 6 am. Perfect for me I can get out and about and enjoy the fresh morning air.

After breaky Suzie took a walkabout with me around the park enjoying the quiet time and wonderful scenery.
They have a very nice cactus garden here with most of the cactus labelled so that we can identify them

After a light lunch I wandered over to the pool and spa, Soaked in the hotub for a bit and enjoyed the pool. Sure was wonderful, wake up my whole body.

After a light lunch we wandered over to the 2 Casinos next to the resort. Want to take advantage of all the free stuff we can get just by staying at this membership park. A week of full hookups, free wifi, all the amenties, plus the freebies.
At the casinos we each got $8.00 free slot play, 2 free games of bowling (we ended up not doing), 2 free t-shirts, a free adult beverage each, and a half price buffet (we did not do). But ended up that coming out of there winning $20.00 (well Suzie did) on our free slot play.
After a while there we headed home with our winnings and free souvenir t-shirts. And enjoyed some wonderful warm sunshine reading outside. We can get the comps at 3 casinos but we only checked out the 2 next door. Maybe the the one another day.

With this time change it gets dark much earlier. So began supper at 4:30. A couple turkey kabobs on the weber Q. Added to a salad. by the time it was done at 5:15 was getting pretty dark. We are still adjusting.

Now after this day relaxing day we both feel brand new again. Think maybe an excursion tomorrow, if the mood strikes us.

Where have we been this Winter
Looks like you're having a great time there. Yeah... about that time change... not only the DST change, but for you, heading west through several zones... takes some adjusting for sure!

DeleteWe also got a $5.00 off a meal for each of us but did not use that either, oh and fee bingo I forgot about. Sure was worthwhile.
Congrats Suzie on your win! Love the look of the pool and hot tub. Too bad cacti weren't named in more places, I try to remember what they are. :) Lots of the pear cactus, very bushy spiky ones and we have that tall one with the yellow flowers here too.
