Overcast , rainy day, lets make a huge pot of soup and putter around..

Where are we today ?

        We had rain over night and most of the day, but temps still about 70f so really not too bad. By about 4 pm  it was 75 f outside and sunny, just wonderful !
       So today because of this rainy weather it was perfect day to make a huge pot of bean soup, Between walkabouts. And I had the large spiral ham bone that was gifted to me after our dart banquet on Thursday and have the perfect soup mix that we can only find in the states, to make an amazing bean soup that we love.

      This was the way most of today looked but at least was  nice and warm.

        So I just putter around with a few small projects one of these below was to drill a tiny hole in our soft soap dispenser. The tiny hole 1/16 inch, allows it  to breath and then it does not drip soap when we are traveling.

     Our HUGE pot of bean soup is all done, and 1/2 is going to Gerry and Melinda's (it was their ham bone) And Melinda loves bean soup, they will enjoy it on Sunday.

        For supper tonight some Chicken Wontons that I will cook up and add to our salad.

a nice change and sure hit the spot

      Not too bad for an overcast drizzly day, we always find stuff to do. Thought about a movie on TV this afternoon , but ran out of time. Tv is on the bottom of out list of things to do.
      No matter, we had a wonderful day, just the two of us enjoying each other's company. Actually just the way we love it! Now still outside, no rain and still pretty warm at 8 pm thinking maybe soon head inside, but still have a couple more chapters to read on our e-readers.
