Sunday was Suzie's Birthday as most of you know and she had many birthday wishes from friends and relatives. Phone calls from her Dad as well as one from both my daughter's that was very nice. But I think to top up a perfect day was this wonderful Facebook message that number two daughter posted on Facebook below for everyone to see. Suzie has been in her life since she was 5 years old, some 26 years now and we all have so many great memories of things we did together. I took the liberty of sharing it on today's posting. We are all so proud of the wonderful caring woman she has grown into. But still is an will always be my baby girl.

Happy Birthday to Sue Yates I hope you had a fabulous birthday. You are a very loved Step Mother and I am so glad to have you as part of my family each and every day. We share so many memories from such a young age. Until now as a Step Mother do I truly understand and appreciate the level of a Step Mother and what that entails. words cannot express. This post should include all of my parents because without their loving kind respect of one another would I even be able to post this and NOT HAVE TO WORRY at all that I am going to upset anyone. Everyone whom is in a separated / divorced situation should be like this. I am sooo blessed to have the 4 up- most awesome parents to raise and support me through my life journey! ❤️Thank you Ruth Rounds , Tom Rounds and George Yates.... and Happy Birthday Suzie xo
this is
so thoughtful of her
Today is an nice relaxing day, few walkabouts, chat with people, enjoying another wonderful warm sunny day about 85f in the shade this afternoon.  Couple of doggie fixes for Suzie during the day as well.
Tucker came by for a hug
Freddie dropped in to say Hi
After puttering around a bit after lunch and read for a while then over to the fitness centre for a nice workout. Home to read a bit more then Gerry, Paul and Judy stopped in for Happy hour. Nice to catch up a bit and share tips and stories. Then Joe stopped in for a beverage while walking Choco, Suzie's 3rd doggie fix for the day.
just enjoying a wonderful afternoon
Choco is smiling , can you see it?
Then everyone gone home for supper and I can whip up ours. Leftover fettucinni Alfredo with shrimp and a couple cobs of wonderful white corn on the Weber Q, and added a tiny tomato, cucumber and onion salad for recipe click here or my recipe blog top right side bar.
enjoy some reading time in the shade
soak the cobs 30 minutes or longer in water,
grill 15-20 minutes on low
turn a couple times, perfect
sure hit the spot
After a nice supper, still enjoying this weather outside until it gets too dark and cool for shorts, then we head inside to finish off the day. Shortly after 8 pm.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by for a peak,
 When we head south
