Cold nights warm days and a final dip in the pool today.

        Hey was cold this morning !  Our thermometer at 5:45 am said 0C heck thats freezing out there but did not see any frost so maybe it is not accurate, time for a new one maybe? Nice walkabout town, chat with a few people then a nice light lunch.
      Suzie went to visit her brother and SIL get our mail (not much). And while she was gone I finished mowing the lawn here just over an hour today.
       Now when I was done I felt like a swim in the pool. Temperature outside was 76 f and the pool 78 f . Hey I can do that! And actually the water was wonderful, I am sure my last swim this year in this pool. We leaving in the morning for 3 weeks, pool may be closed by the time we get back.

 before preheating our Weber Q

        Suzie home by 3 pm just as I fired up our Weber Q. Chicken on by 3:30 for 90 minutes (it was just over 4 lbs) And we chatted and had a nice "happy hour" together.

Chicken done to perfection and some
acorn squash with honey
add to our salad was wonderful

       Nothing more healthy than a fresh made salad (no carbs) with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, gilled chicken, fresh grapes  and an acorn squash with honey. Nothing processed here except a tiny bit of of dipping sauce.

        What a wonderful day we had and even got a nice dip in the pool too!
