Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
The rains stopped the skies were bright now sunny and the air warmed up. We enjoyed our coffees and some computing, puttered about, packed up and were leisurely on the road at 9:30am. Down the mountain a bit, a huge boulder at the side of the road, that slid down the hill, glad it was moved over to the side.

As nice as this campground is with two pools and two hot tubs, only one pool is working and the other hot tub is working. We felt like we were victims of a bit of gouging. We are ten miles to anywhere, no phone service, no internet and no stores other than the campground store, The prices they charged were much higher than normal, and the store very expensive, and $20.00 to pump out your sewage when they don't have sewer sites, $5. to $7. we have paid, and once $20.00 when we were dry camping in the desert at Quartzsite, but not in a campground.
So once we got over this, we set up our satellite dish and a walkabout, then relax in very warm sunshine and read for a while and chat with the neighbours.
awesome day! |
We are not in bush like the last resort and the hills not as close so we had warm sunshine and no wind until almost 5:00 pm compared to 3:00 pm. When we went inside to prepare a tasty supper of a shake n bake porkchop, baked potato and spinach salad. Read for a bit then some NCIS on TV.
Then our plan is to see the San Diego Zoo tomorrow.
