Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
A nice warm night, no heat on and windows open, sun shinning this morning and all is well. Coffee, computing, walkabout and check out some RV's a local dealer brought in to tempt some rv'ers. Also noticed this guy below likes to bring his toys to the desert, a heavy load, then he pulls a huge trailer behind.

nice toys |
We have a nice pool and hot tub here but they have been closed down by the state of California for some reason???

would be nice if it was open |

About 10 o'clock we headed into town to check out the Yuma Indoor Market Place. It was a little interesting and fun but not what we thought it would be, so it did not take long to walkabout. On the way here we passed an Old Navy store so we headed back to see if we could find it and check it out. Now on the way there we noticed an
Outback Steakhouse and it was open for lunch! Our last trip to an Outback was in Florida for supper 10 years ago with my brother who passed away shortly after that. So we just had to go there for lunch (we have not found many open for lunch).

After a delicious lunch we checked out the Old Navy then off to visit Dave and Sharon. We met them last winter at Tres Amigos resort on Stone Island, Mazatlan Mexico. They had camped beside us for close to two months and are from British Columbia.

They have a very nice site here in a clean rv park and are spending the winter here an excellent choice, nice warm weather and lots of sunshine. We had a very nice visit and before we knew it a few hours had passed by just chatting and catching up with each other, its so nice to reconnect with people we have met on the road. One really nice thing I discovered was that Sharon does read our blog, it seems like almost everyday, so she knows where we go and what we do, she was telling me some things that I had forgotten I had written about! Its so nice to know that people do actually read what I write, makes it even more fun.

Well now its time to go home and relax, no supper again tonight after such delicious lunch, but we were able to sit outside and read until after 6:00pm (in shorts) with another awesome sunset!

We are fogged in again today. I think you picked a good year to give Mazatlan a miss....
