Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,

 since August 2006

      Sunshine, blue skies, warm, dry what more can we ask for? Coffee, computing, walkabout then a short trip to Yuma for some groceries, and back home for lunch. Then more fresh air and putter about, even chat with a few neighbours.

      We can now sit in the sun and shade and read for a while enjoying this climate. The resort is filling up with snowbirds from many northern climates. At 4:00pm we went to the clubhouse to view a presentation (large screen slide show) on RVing in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and south Africa. This is put on by Fantasy Rv tours that offer these vacations as rv caravans. All the details were covered from the air transfers departing the US, hotels, meals, rv rentals, sightseeing tours, and side trips for a 60 day vacation of a lifetime. So interesting and such a dream and soooo expensive, it would be a vacation of a lifetime. This was wound up by 5:30pm with some wine, questions and answers, even a few door prizes. So now we have more information on another dream we need to figure out how to fulfill.

      Back home relax for a bit waiting for the sunset then we can go inside to prepare supper.  The two pictures below were taken from the roof of our coach just before 6:00pm.

      Once the sun set I can now prepare supper, tonight some of our "Garlic Sausage in a Jar" with sauerkraut, creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli. Then a bit of tv, where does the time go?
