Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
Today starts with another nice sunrise warming us up rather quickly. Coffees and computing then a walkabout down by the hot springs.

Then a few more yards down the road is a canal that passes thru the area I believe they use for irrigating the fields.

Back home chatting with neighbours Don and Ailene from Kenora Ontario, checked out their laminate flooring that Don had installed and chuckled over their Beware of PUP PEE sign for their little poodle.

Now these people are serious desert campers, notice number of solar panels that they have! They leave this trailer in California now and just use a truck camper to travel south in the winter, as Don apparently needs a special license to tow this rig, now that he is turning 80 years old.

Well this morning a few us helped and hindered him as he loaded up the truck camper on to his pickup for a two week trip to Quartzsite to check out the RV show and vendors in the area. We will be there as well in a week or so.
After all this morning work, a bite to eat for lunch then over to the hot springs for a stimulating hot shower and soak in the pool, another walk about and relax in the sun/shade with our books for a while. Then shortly after 3 pm a few of them returned from a day trip to Algadones Mexico, stocking up on some cheap prescription drugs, booze and a nice lunch. Happy hour just kind of evolved again with snacks, beverages and sharing stories of the days events. Then as things cooled off time to warm up inside with alight supper again (grilled ham and cheese) chat, read and a bit of tv.
Another awesome day in the desert, thanks for joining us.
