Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
Monday morning the beginning of a new week, so we got up this morning with fog so thick you could cut it with a knife and we could not even see our neighbours a few feet away. Makes me wonder where the fog comes from in such a dry desert climate? But as the sun rose it did not take long before the air warmed up and it was gone with the blue skies returning. A bit of a walkabout this morning as the fog was lifting.

Back at home dirt our neighbour's Don and Ailene were getting their truck camper ready for their trip to Quartzsite. Tom was helping them with a couple of last minute repairs, packing their food and clothing, no rush probably leaving tomorrow.

The the other neighbours George and Gaye are doing a few last minute repairs as well for their trip to Quartzsite. Now myself and Elmer were giving George a hand with his "simple chore" (2 hours) to install the dirt skirt on his new rear bumper.

Well all of this was done by early afternoon, time for a walkabout and relax a bit reading in the sun today, resting up for Happy Hour. Shortly after 3 pm they begin to gather so we wander over with our beverage and we all share some yummy snacks and appetizers. More chit chat, stories, sharing plans, addresses and some good byes and see ya laters.

As the sun sets the air cools down real quick, Elmer's wife wraps her scarf around her neck we put on our sweaters then eventually as the sun sets, about 5 pm, we go home to warm up and have supper. For as much as we talked with her for the last 4 days neither myself nor Suzie can remember her name, I hate when that happens.

Tonights supper is just a few chicken wings with celery, carrots, broccoli and dip.
