Camping by the river, homemade soup, swimming in the pool and met another nice couple.

      Just more of this amazing winter weather, on the Colorado River in Earp California. After the early morning coffees and computing I got myself and nice walkabout as the sun was rising , my favourite time of the day.
     At 7 am I took some turkey bones from the freezer and fill a pot of water to make a nice soup stock.

      Another walkabout around the park while my soup stock is doing it's thing. So many interesting things to see around this park .

     Then a bit later I added to the turkey soup stock veggies, spices and some egg noodles. We will enjoy quite a few lunches from this and make more freezer room as well.

      After lunch a quick trip to the store for a few things and explores some trails on the way back, just because I could and were passable with our car.

then to relax in the shade reading for a bit

        Just after 2 pm  I checked the pool and not too busy so we wandered on over, I going for a swim, Not Suzie though, She can sit by the pool and read some more.

      Then before we knew it was 3 pm. Happy hour by the pool at the Tiki bar. So we blew the budget, beer only a dollar and popcorn a dollar as well.  Why not? And the popcorn refills are free until 6 pm.

       Shortly after 3:30 we decided to head on home.  But stopped and chatted with a very nice couple from Washington for a while.

         Now back home more reading time for a while in the shade, before whipping  up supper.

         Supper tonight a couple of smoked pork chops we picked up in Quartzsite, and some grilled asparagus on our Weber Q.

        Just as we were done managed to get a shot of a nice sunset right here in the park, From behind our coach down the road.

       That was it for another fun day relaxing in this very nice campground and I even got in the pool and hot tub as well. Pool was very warm and the hot tub hot ! Just the way I like it.
       Now here we are again still out side reading at 8 pm in shorts, and a very comfortable 66 f (18C), gonna wrap up thes posting and soon head inside for the night, Soon be morning and time to start all over again.
