It was bit warmer last night 32 F outside at 5 am, cozy inside great for sleeping 54F this morning just fired up our blue flame heater and in no time a comfortable 72 F inside.
Did get a few nice walkabouts in the warm morning sunshine. Really love this place so comfortable here and the weather amazing.

another nice sunrise to start our day |
Puttered around a bit and when Suzie had the laundry sorted I headed to the nice laundry they have here, 5 washers and 2 dryers. But they have a couple of clothes lines and clothes pins= perfect!
|
garden by the laundry |
|
nice clean laundry here |
|
only 2 dryers but.. |
We did 3 loads, one for the sheets. Nothing like hanging your sheets on a clothes line to dry in the wind, They smell so fresh. 32 minutes for the clothes in the dryers cost a buck and the sheets on the line, done about the same time, With a nice breeze, sunshine and dry air here does not take long
|
nice clothes lines and pins here sheets dry in no time |
While this was happening I finished a Patterson book and dived into a J.A. Dance that I enjoy.
|
another page turner |
When the dryers were done I folded the clothes and home by 11 am so we could enjoy another light tasty lunch. Then back to grab the sheets.
That was done we can enjoy sitting outside enjoying our e-readers, And between chapters Suzie washed the floors and I check our tires, put our Weber Q away for travelling in the morning.
|
really love the views here |
|
the quiet places and friendly people |
|
a perfect day we enjoyed |
For supper tonight we had a 1.5 lb pork loin roast to do and choose to do it in our pressure cooker for a change, Added a sweet potato, mushrooms, onions, celery, carrots and in 25 minutes we had a perfect meal so moist and tender. Made a bit of gravy and we had a feast of course more leftovers , but that was planned. Added some apple sauce just because apple sauce just goes with roast pork at least in my books.
|
love this pressure cooker, on the stove no need for electricity sure does a wonderful job |
I was so into watching for the sunset I did not take any pictures of tonights supper, But no big deal you have seen so many meals what's the big deal anyway?
|
sunset shining on the hills behind us |
|
looking the other way was nice too |
|

Where have we been this winter ?
Dinner sounds great!, but the sunset makes the day ... another great day for the two of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff it was a great day all the way around.
DeleteThat is a really nice campground. I love the way the mountains change with the flow of the sun all day but best of all when the sun starts to set.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels
It is a really lovely campground more of the sale we enjoy,
DeleteAnd the scenery wonderful too.
Great sunset pictures. I always like how the sun changes the hills and mountains as it sets.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels tomorrow as you move on.
Thanks Deb the sun plays wonderfully with the desert scenery around here.
DeleteI've never seen a park with a clothesline. What a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels to your next destination!
The clothesline is a great idea, with the sunshine, light wind and dry air sure does a great job.
DeleteThanks Nancy just a nice leisurely drive today
Loved that clothesline! Brought back memories of hanging diapers in the sun, something I actually loved to do. Will look forward to seeing where you land next.
ReplyDeleteThe clothesline is a nice touch especially in a place like this.
DeleteWe don't plan on going far today just taking our time right now.
Nothing like a clothesline to make things smell wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your time there. It's a great place.
Safe travels.
The clothesline worked great especially for the sheets.
DeleteWe do enjoy it here thanks will be back again.
No dryers when I was a kid so clothes always dried on a line and I always preferred them that way.
ReplyDeleteSame here no dryers back then either, the clothes always smelled so fresh.
DeleteEspecially for sheets, the clothesline is wonderful! Nice to get that laundry done and your home cleaned before travelling.
ReplyDeleteTravel safe.
Thanks Patsy.
DeleteThe clothes line a nice touch for a campground especially here in the desert.
Crazy how the weather has been so cool where it is supposed to be much warmer. Like everyone else I love sleeping in sheets that have been line dried. Here on the Isla they guy at the lavenderia does this so we are spoiled for the 4/5 months that we are here.
ReplyDeleteWe have had amazing weather for most of the winter, no complaints here at all.
DeleteThis clothesline was a bonus for us here.
I'm shocked, no meal picture? What's the world coming too now! :cD
ReplyDeleteLOL, was enjoying the meal and the sunset, sometimes these things happen lol....
DeleteThe Tombstone Territory RV Park also had cloth lines to use if you wanted, but the dryers were very cheap, I think about 75 cents per load all dry. They also provided an ironing board with steam iron complimentary. I figured that you would also use a pressure cooker. The best invention of all time. That book you read: 'A Last Goodbye" has a picture of a long haired Dachshund on it. Is the story about a dog? I'll be intrigued to download it.
ReplyDeleteLove the pressure cooker. The book is about finding this stray dog in Vegas. A short story
DeleteOh dear, now I have to go and get a pork roast...
ReplyDeleteLOL,,, a pork roast is awesome no matter how you cook it.
DeleteLooking like the weather is great there. Bet you're sorry to leave. Can't believe it's time to start heading home already.
ReplyDeleteBeen a wonderful winter this year in the southwest. Little warm at times, but warm is better than cold.
Safe travels today wherever you're heading.
Yes Doug sorry to leave and hope to get back here again. This winter has been amazing weather I like the heat much better than the cold.
DeleteNot too far today just slowly making our way home. Don't like to rush too much.
Wonderful nice weather and clear skies. Why is such a great place. Winter is over here on the East Coast for now. No snow, just a bit under the freezing mark at night but mild and often sunny during the days.
ReplyDeleteLove it here Peter . Nice that your winter is over and soon be warming up for you.
