Where are we today ?

Again just more wonderful summer weather here at Rock Glen. Very warm overnight windows open and fantastic fan going gave us a very nice cool breeze.
After our late campfire last night I slept until 6 am today, unusual for me. After a few walkabouts this morning I made an early trip to Forest for some groceries and Kettle point for some pickerel then home to putter around. Got our faded headlights on the car and the coach all nice and clear again

After a light lunch I went to the fitness centre here for a long needed work out, it's been a while with stuff going on here, but sure feels good again.
Then to enjoy our e-readers in the shade a pretty nice hot, humid day, (90f , 32C) but not bad in the shade with a light breeze. Tucker dropped by for a visit with Gerry and did not want to leave, so funny.

Then time for supper I picked up a small prime rib steak on sale for a treat and Suzie wanted a baked potato with it, No problem I picked up 2 taters this morning.

The with supper and dishes done we can head down to the clubhouse for darts at 6:45, They play here everyThursday and anyone can come. Cost $3.00 per person for a few hours of fun and laughs always a good time.

Shortly after 9 we were all done, 18 players in all 6 teams. Suzie's team came in second place and she won $2;00 and me like usual wont nada. But fun we did have.
Now back home outside for a while finish up the blog posting and read for a while before heading inside for the night. Heck it's after 10 pm but still nice out but kinda cool watching all the fireflies in the quite darkness here. We actually turned our a/c on for a bit after darts for about and hour tonight just to get rid of some humidity in the coach , then open the windows again for overnight.

ReplyDeleteYour headlights look really good! From what I can see, the product you used is Turtlewax headlight lens restorer.
I am going to try this. I see that Walmart sells it, under $10.
I really appreciate you going the extra mile, showing how you did things with good detail and pictures.

That's right Karen that is what I use, very reasonable and easy to use. I don't put the sealer on though as it would be harder to clean the next time. I usually do them about twice a year only takes a few minutes.

Crikey ...... Suzie's good at so many things, aye?? How about ping pong? Is she any good at that?? Mum and Dad like to play sometimes and I like to retrieve the balls for them. They yell at me though. What's with that I wonder??
ReplyDeleteNot sure how she is at Ping pong, I know I have not played for about 50 years, always enjoyed it ! The balls are pretty fragile think maybe you might crack them.
