Where are we today ?

Wow I actually slept until 7 am today, maybe because we were outside last night until after 10pm enjoying this wonderful summer weather, chatting and enjoying our e-readers, and no bugs here. Gotta love this time of year.
After coffees I wanted a walkabout before 8 am it was almost nice, very warm. But the skies opened up and changed that plan quickly, so after a very short walk I just puttered around thinking about where to head out this fall. With so many options its hard to decide, More discussing and thoughts needs to be done, but no rush we have lotsa time. mostly want to be in a warmer place than here in the winter.
After a tasty light lunch a quick trip to Forest, for a few things and picked up some cooked chicken wings at the Foodland for supper tonight. We do love chicken wings and its been while, ( we try to do moderation) a good deal 20 wings for $9.99 should be enough to satisfy our ( my craving). Cheaper than going out and even cooking them myself as well.
Not much else going on here, did get a couple of short walkabouts, chat with a neighbour and just relaxing enjoying our e-readers in the shade. A very light breeze temps got to 90 F with the humidex 97F. Feels pretty nice. Was gonna wax our coach but think I will wait a bit for slightly cooler weather. The beauty of retirement we can do what we want when it suits us.
so this was a great afternoon, just doing this |
this large box of 20 wings for only $9.99 |
fries in the Fry Daddy |
wings nice and hot and crispy |
yup we had a feast, and a few left over wings |
Tonight 12 people so we had 4 teams of 3 and we all had too much fun, We did not win anything tonight, thats probably cause Suzie and I were on the same team. No matter was still a good time. Home by 9:15and enjoyed sitting outside for another hour, just cause we could still enjoy this wonderful summer weather.
then Suzie got another doggie fix , when Maya dragged Walt this way on his walkabout |
he was just a baby a little while ago. where does the time go? now a young man ! |

Tew hope to do the Canada trip someday soon. We still have to wait and see how Suzie's Dad does in the near future. not this year and probably not next year. Want to do it before we can't.
