Happy 24th wedding anniversary to us, and still living the dream. Relocated to Plattsville and the mosquitoes joined us in our celebration!

      Now here it is again another anniversary, 24 years ago we tied the knot, I married my best friend. And we went on our honeymoon. My first cruise of the Caribbean that Suzie thought I would love and we did. That really gave us the urge to travel and see more.
       So in 2006 we decided enough of this work stuff. Lets sell everything hop in our motorhome and do some serious exploring.  Now here we are living our dream 11 years on the road, just the 2 of us still enjoying our honeymoon. Living in 220 square feet enjoying this most amazing lifestyle, and we are still married! Mind you we do get along very well no issues and just enjoy this lifestyle.

there we are July 10th 1993.

         The wedding and reception was at Suzie's Sister Rose's yard. Her mom made most of the salads, A good friend Rick BBQ'd a large pig and prime rib roasts, another friend was the DJ and photographer, 2 ladies from my restaurant helped serve and tidy up (my restaurant was closed that day). All of this took place in Rose and Ross's shed set up for 135 people. We enjoyed a wonderful day with family and friends, headed out to the Toronto airport at midnight and caught an early morning flight to Miami for our first amazing Caribbean cruise together.

       So here we are still travelling year round just relocated this morning to Plattsville, where we lived together for 17 years (me 26 years, 10 years in my restaurant). Got moved and set up before noon, the rain started a bit about 3 pm. Relax for the afternoon then out to the Trails Edge Tavern in town for a tasty dinner at one of our favourite eateries. We pulled in here and realized the the mosquitoes have moved in as well. Not surprising here with the overcast cooler day and rain in the forecast.  We did spend some time outside , set up our torch and  mosquitoes things so was much better. I whipped into New Hamburg to pick up my repaired hearing aide, So now good to go for another year whenWSIB (no cost to me) they will supply new ones for me again, once every 5 years.

        After noon of reading and puttering around for a while, no supper to make, cause Suzie is taking us out for our anniversary! Sure do love that girl, treats me like a king !

       Then just before  5 we wandered on down to the Edge for supper.we getting hungry .

       Not busy at this time on a Monday just the way we like it. !

we shared some escargot that we both love, as usual  excellent.

 was excellent as usual

 my usual  chicken wings, fries, plus bleu cheese with the veggies
and my suicide sauce on the side

           Now how was that for a wonderful anniversary day? Sure suited us fine.
