Just a wonderful warm morning today, looks like our hot spell will die down for a bit after today. Only got to 86 f with the humidex to 95F (35C). We found it quite comfortable in the shade with a light breeze. Gonna miss it when things cool down a bit.Got some nice walkabouts early this morning enjoying this weather, the fresh air and exercise sure feels good.
Now back home after my walk and Suzie outside with her coffee reading in the shade, you know it's a nice warm day when she is outside in shorts at 8 am in the shade.
this is the weather we truly love |
Then the afternoon enjoying our e-readers in the shade and over to visit Tucker and Gerry for Happy Hour. Suzie wanted a Tucker fix today. As soon as she sat on the couch he was with her, as usual.

ReplyDeleteIt was a good day for sure with more wonderful weather.
DeleteWevare enjoying cod filets now thanks to your blog! I add some finely chopped lemon zest to the bread crumbs for another layer of delciousness. Life is good...
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoy them, the lemon zest would be a nice addition as well.
DeleteAlways fun to meet a friend/relative of a friend while on the road. Fish looks awesome!, our last cod filet (from our Alaska trip) is in the freezer and wanting to get out ...
ReplyDeleteYes it is always fun to meet people and especially ones we have heard about as well.
DeleteYes time to get that cod out and cooked, I went fishing for Cod over 40 years ago from Duncan BC and we caught a huge mess of them awesome they were.
Just dropping in to let you know I enjoy your day to day posts! Sounds like a relaxing (for the most part) way of life. HOT here in Kansas - our digital thermometer showed 107 degrees F yesterday and the sensor is on the north side of the house in the shade!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Joyce. It is a very relaxing way of life, do get lots of walking and exercise do and much more travelling and sightseeing in the winter when we head south. Tew have not hit those temperatures yet but could still get them in August.
DeleteWhat is Near Beer?
ReplyDeleteSorry, it is a de-alcoholize beer with .05 % alcohol and only 50 calories that we enjoy and only 1/4 the price of regular beer with 5% alcohol and 180 calories. After 2 light beer we switch to our Near beer, sure saves a lot of calories and money, and we enjoy the taste.
DeleteLooks like another great day in Paradise.
ReplyDeleteYup it was.
