Where are we today
Today is gonna be an even hotter day than yesterday with the humidity gonna feel like 39c (102f). And we don't have a problem with that. Nothing to do and no where to go other than relax in the shade, read our books and a few dips in the pool. No A/C here with the lack of power (unless we fire up the genny) but thats no problem, cools off nicely at night time.
Got an early walkabout town from 7 till 8:30 am just enjoying the wonderful weather. Quick trip to the store pick a few things for supper then we can just take it easy. Read, swim, chat whatever we feel like, love these kinds of days ! The Lazy, Hazy days of summer!!! Suzie had a nap and her cold is feeling some better than yesterday so thats a good sign.

Enjoying this weather more doggie fixes for Suzie, think that is good for her, just cause she loves it !

this bag of fur could almost knit a sweater I think |
ThenI whipped up a tasty tomato avocado salad for supper. Between chapters in my book and dips in the pool. For the recipe I used for this salad click

Good job, Suzie. Looks like those two needed a good combing.
ReplyDeleteI love the setting of your camp site. Beautiful.
Thanks, that why we call it camp "Awesome", just cause it is!
DeleteI knew a woman back in Ohio who did use her dogs hair to spin into yarn for a sweater. I always kinda wondered what the dogs thought of it when she wore the sweater ;-) Your meals look delicious... as usual!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon.
DeleteA dogs knitted sweater would be so cool.
Wish we were there as we still remember visiting you at "Camp Awesome". The heat around the apartment is just too much for Kathy. It takes her breathe away and we want her to breathe easy.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
AS you know it os "Awesome" here.
DeleteSuzie is spoiling those dogs rotten! :c)
ReplyDeleteYes she can and she does really enjoy it too.
DeleteEnjoy those nice summer days. I'm sure the doggies are getting all the attention they can from Suzie.
