Feb. 12th a relaxing Sunday

Where are we today ?

        Its another nice sunny Sunday and we have nothing planned, my back is about 95%. Suzie suggests that we just hang out here, and I can exercise, and relax, and not do anything to mess it up again. Ok so that's what we do. We were going to have ribs for supper but when I got them out they smelled bad (very bad) I took them back to Walmart for a refund and stopped at Staples to pick up new ink cartridges for our printer. Don't feel much like ribs now.

        It was a nice drive to the store in the morning and the desert scenery just wonderful. As I head down into the valley the sun on the mountains across the river, the dark places are shadows from the clouds in the sky.

        Back home just stretching, relax, ice, walkabout, ice, relax, stretch, read and enjoy the sunshine and wonderful temperatures. Feeling real good, gotta be a good boy. The old expression is haunting me "you know you're getting old when you back goes out more than you".

        Where we are sitting looking down into the valley and the Colorado River and Laughlin. Also we can see few planes coming into the airport and I got a couple more pictures again today. Because of the mountains that they come over you don't hear these jets coming until they are about three seconds away, camera ready I captured this spectacular site again. Apparently the Laughlin Casinos sponsor many charter flights that bring over 100,000 people a year here to try their luck.

        Later on the we had some scary looking dark clouds come over the mountains, all the while we wondered what they were bringing with them. But they just blocked the sun for a bit cooling things down, the heat came back with the sun so all was good.

        Well feeling pretty good so Suzie let me fire up our Weber Q100 to grill a cornish hen (with Swiss Chalet dipping sauce of course), potatoes w/ mushrooms and onions, with asparagus for a tasty sunday dinner.

        So now feeling real do and little more exercise, ice and the final relax, so I was a good boy today maybe we can go out and play a bit more tomorrow.
