Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
Sunday morning and gonna be a nice day, we have been here for two weeks, its time to hit the road again we get itchy feet. So morning coffees, computing, walkabout and chat with a few people secure our coach and we are on the road at 9:30 am. Sunday morning is a good day to drive thru the city of Toronto (any large city for that matter) with a much lower volume of traffic. As usual we stopped at the half way point, Milton to fuel our coach and car stretch and have lunch.
400 kms (250 miles) today
The trip was uneventful and we arrived at Rock Glen Resort in Arkona at 2:30pm. When we begin our migration in a month that is about a typical travel day for us, no rush a nice leisurely drive. Once here we got our favorite site again, set up and sat in the shade to enjoy our books for a while, on a beautiful hot sunny day.
Then soon time for supper and tonight's craving was wings and fries with some veggies and dip and of course my required hot sauces. The Frydaddy and our Weber Q-100 made short work of this meal and so did we once we settled down to eat.
yummy wing feast
Now relaxing and chatting a bit after supper, Mike, Trish and Maggie dropped by to say hi so we sat outside and got our propane fire pit out for a little warmth then Joe and Nancy stopped by with their dog and joined us, we had a great evening, telling jokes, stories and lies, one more before the cool weather puts a stop to that.
nice night for a fire
Another great day moving to another membership campground, our last two weeks here before we get together for our Canadian Thanksgiving with families, some doctors appointments, then head south in search for warmer places to visit.

You guys are so lucky to have such beautiful parks to go to. There is really nothing like that around Regina. We would love to have a pool !!
We also have the Weber Q100. Just got it for Father's day this year, and it is as good as everyone says.
Thanks again, for your encouraging comments you left on our new blog....that really means a lot to us, that you are willing to help out a couple of newbies !!
