Well here it is May 21st long weekend, sunshine, clear skies and great temperatures. It was up to 28c (85f) just a great day. Our neighbours had picked up a hanging plant for their house and hung it on our site post for the weekend, so nice of them, maybe they will forget to take it with them.

The required morning coffees and computing out of the way Suzie and I took a large walkabout the resort and chatted with quite a few people. The resort full and everybody outside lots of people to stop and chat with.
After a bite to eat for lunch I got ambitious and almost got the whole passenger side of our coach waxed, just enjoying the wonderful weather. Until Mike and Maggie stopped by on their walk.

He stopped, I stopped working and we had a beverage, then a few more people joined us and happy hour!
yes we happy!
Soon we smelled food cooking and everybody got hungry, time for supper.

I fired up the barbie and grilled a couple of chicken breasts to add to the left over Chicken Spinoccoli from last night along with a tossed salad.
tasty leftovers
After supper the traditional wagon rides began, there was enough people today to fill the wagon three times, lots of fun for the young ones.
fun ride
Then shortly after 8 p.m. we wandered down to the clubhouse to listen to the band for a while and even dance a bit if they were any good. Well we got on the dance floor and stayed for two sets, by then its way past bedtime.
and yes we were dancing
Nice to walk home on a warm evening, smelling the campfires still burning.
Gotta love this lifestyle!

Sounds like a great day. I rememeber working at the KOA the last 2 summers and watching the wagon ride go out every night. Hans the owner was known for his wagon ride. It was a ride you would never forget. People came to camp there just for the ride.
Hope today is another good day for you. Remember to pace yourself!
Very interesting set up Red has with the campfire. Was the tripos there or did he bring it? George you still have some great moves left in ya!
