Just another very warm night 52F (11C) at 4:30 am this is wonderful. Really gotta love it ! When the sun came up. I put my shorts on and headed out for a nice morning wallakbout around the park and across the road to the Rock Glen Falls conservation area, just because I could. |

Back home Suzie put the clothes away , I had a nice long hot shower, then set to give me a hair cut and beard trim. Perfect weather to do it outside so why not? Suzie always does the final touches so I be good again for a while,
The temps got to 82 F (27C) in the shade. Now this is my kinda weather, We did have a sw wind about 25 mph that kept iis not too hot.

Where have we been this summer?
Nice reflections from the pond - looks like a mirror, but you mention it was windy. Guess you caught it at the right time. Is there a swimming hole at the base of the stairs/falls? I'm between books at the moment, do you mind mentioning the titles of 'page turners' in the blog? I'll need to check the local library for an available copy.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice sw wind bit still very warm , There is a park where people can get under the falls and even swim , bit still pretty cold at this time of year. Right now I am reading Rick Mofina Dying hour the second of 3 books I have, Detective, crimes and stuff, if you like that stuff, keeps me reading to see the outcome , Very fast paced .

ReplyDeleteWe do love the fall and at times we can hear the roar of the water going over them. We really do enjoy this part of Ontario, such a nice laid back peaceful area.

ReplyDeleteIt is very nice in the summer, but can't really see the falls from where I was, then you take the stairway down to the bottom.

ReplyDeleteIt was a wonderful day Nancy. We could stay here all summer, for a seasonal rate, but don't like to stay in one place, very long.. Also with our membership, we get free camping with full hookups, as long as we go out for a week between our 2 or 3 weeks in year round if we like.
DeleteGreat weather you are having. Still need a jacket here. By the way the geese are all here in Kelowna. Woken up at 5AM yesterday when they landed on the roof and started a loud party.
