Another cool night again but sure is nice for sleeping with our windows open bit and no heat on, Preparing us for our winter desert camping, that we are chomping at the bit to do.Got a few walkabouts early this morning as usual and by 9 am was in shorts again.
this bunny is liking our grass and weeds here, nice to see hm stop by almost every morning |
Now to read again outside enjoying this wonderful summer weather, did get to 76F (24C) today so not too bad at all. We are heading out in the morning so I do my normal stuff, check tire pressures and oil. Secure our awning, Have a nice long hot shower, shave and a hair cut. Me good to go again.
Back to our reading and enjoying more of this wonder weather. No complaints here.
was a great afternoon |
Then we grilled a couple of Wagyu Beef and Lobster Burgers, Very tasty burgers that we picked up in Hanover Ontario earlier this summer.
While supper was cooking Maya dragged Walt by on her walk, she wanted a Suzie Fix and of course a couple of small treats.
Doggie fix for Suzie as well. |
Bush's Beans and burger was wonderful |
Now enjoying nice warm summer, bug free evening outside. Posting this blog and more reading time in, Yup we can handle that. As it cools down everything stowed away so we can head on out in the morning head down towards our good friends place near Turkey Point on Lake Erie.
Not a bad relaxing day at all and sure hope yours was wonderful as well.
Where have we been this summer ?
'Turf and Surf' burgers! ... not a combination that I'm aware of, but sound delish! Safe travels as you move south.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeff.
DeleteIt was actually quite nice it is a Presidents Choice Product thing only in Canada at PC stores.
That is a new burger to me too!! Sounds pretty good🙂 Those doggies are sure gonna miss the Suzie fix complete with treats!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys travel safe!!
Thanks Guys.
DeleteIt was a pretty tasty burger. When we leave apparently the dogs walk by here , look and sniff not sure what to do for a while, but we be back in a week or so.
Safe travels as you move towards Lake Erie.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a couple of nice days in a row, awesome!
Thanks Patsy, sure loving this nice weather.
DeleteBeef and Lobster burgers are new to me.... I like your way of cooking beans. Made me think of photos I've seen of old hobo camps... except I don't think they ever had lobster.. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe burgers are new to us as well, a nice change they were. Cooking beans or canned goods on the grill I have done for years, no dirty pots and pans.
DeleteKen cooks beans the same way you do and they turn out perfect. Love how you and Suzie divide up your chores, we basically do the same thing and no one gets overworked haha..Looking forward to posts from the Lake Erie area!
ReplyDeleteSo easy to canned beans this way, no need to dirty a pot. We are a team and like to work together, makes live easier for the 2 of us.
DeleteNot gonna do too much around leak Erie only here for 2 nights visiting friends.
Bush's beans sure tend to be popular. They've become the official standby!
ReplyDeleteThese are very tasty beans always like to keep some on hand for a treat.
DeleteI sure love those Bush's Beans! We used to bring a dozen or so back from the US but now we can buy them in BC. They are always a treat. On the move again, you guys sure get around!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that we can buy them here in Canada now, sure are a nice treat.
DeleteThis is why we began this lifestyle 11 years ago so that we can move around, have always had the wandering itch since I was a kid. And we both enjoy it.
