Another relaxing day, not a problem here. Life is good!

Where are we today ?

      Here we are just hanging out enjoying this summer weather. Not much on the agenda today. Walkabouts town for a couple miles then a few errands, whipped into Kitchener for Suzie to get some health stuff she needs and home for a nice tasty light lunch.
       Right after lunch I whipped up a mess of mini sausage rolls (my recipe HERE) to take to a large pot luck we are attending tomorrow that we like to go to every year if we are in the area and we are. You can drop by tomorrow and check it out if you like always a good time and lotsa food.
      After lunch she went visit her brother (not far from here) to pick up our mail and visit while I mowed some lawn here, just for an hour or so. I started with the far  couple of acres and will work my way to the front where we are parked, will be all done by Sunday before we leave here on Monday.

          Now both Suzie and I are here shortly after 3 pm, relax and get right back into our e-readers. Both page turners. Not quite warm enough for a swim only got to 80F and overcast all day, but that's ok we keep ourselves busy.
          I did a quick trip the the hardware store in town to fill our 2.5 gallon water jug with RO water for drinking. Like most places this is what we drink or cook with. While here ran into an old friend Brian and chatted with him for a while, ( I used to buy the eggs for my restaurant from him for 10 years) nice to catchup when we can. He does follow our blog and knows where we are. Nice to hear.
         Soon  time for supper so I preheat our Weber Q and whip up a nice green salad between chapters. Then grilled a couple of Turkey Garlic sausage that we really enjoy.

     Like I said not a lot going on but always something to keep us busy, outside and enjoy more of this wonderful summer weather.

      Now after posting this at around 8 pm we continued to sit outside and read with the warm weather , at 8:45pm it cooled down quickly, then we had thunder, lightening and a major rainfall.  So nice to sit outside for a while and watch the show. But then it let up, getting chilly so we eventually headed inside for the night.
