Where are we today ?
Today we hitting the road again. Walkabouts for a while and when Suzie ready we can hit the road.
So 7:50 am slide in jacks up and away we go. 10 Miles down the road stopped at the Flying J to top up our gas tank. Sure is nice to get 1/2 tank of fuel for under $60.00.
Then we have a stop in Casa Grande to finally meet fellow Rv'er's and Bloggers Jan and Bill their blog is HERE . We missed them twice last year so we had to stop by and finally meet them. We were on the road and they had an Escapee luncheon to go but we did stop by. Enjoyed a coffee, lemon coffee cake and a very nice visit, short but better than no visit. Thanks for your hospitality Jan and Bill. So nice to finally meet them after following each other for a quite a while almost like we know them but have never met. What a super couple to.
But they wanted to do things and we did not want to change their plans plus,

Now as planned we got to Congress about 1 pm and pulled into Al and Kelly's. Wow what an amazing place they have, have seen many pictures but to see it in person is amazing! They have done so much work here and looks like a showplace! Just the kinda place the we would enjoy if it was ours. No wonder they can't decide weather to sell it or not.

Only 163 miles today |
What a wonderful day we had finally met Jan and Bill, and get together with Al and Kelly. It's been a couple years, yet we are so close when in Ontario. Just had to explore this area and check out their dream house here in the southwest, just in case they sell it before we get here. Plus they are a wonderful couple too and then there is Pheebs, wow what a special lady she is. Plan on being here for 3 nights, don't want to overstay our welcome. Oh by the way Jean and Skip, you guessed it right. Hope to see you guys and Denise somewhere in the desert this winter too.
Thanks for visiting again and hope you had a wonderful day too.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Fall and Winter..
Pretty darn lucky to have a change to park at the Bayfield Bunch place! Pheebs sure looks like a sweet dog.

ReplyDeleteLots of great Rv bloggers out there always fun to meet new people too that we might have not ever met otherwise.
DeleteI'm glad you connected with Jan and Bill too. It's always nice to meet up with folks you have followed for a while. It's also nice to be able to mooch dock for a night or two.

DeleteAs always George yours is the first blog I read each morning and then I follow with the Bayfield Bunch. Yes they have a beautiful place and hope we get chance to see it before they sell. We would like to meet them next summer and plan on trying to arrange that. You are certainly having a good time, which is certainly what this life style is all about. Take care and be safe.
