Sunshine, warm weather, outside and my "honey do list", got er done too.

Where are we today ?
What another wonderful warm sunny day again, blue skies and sunshine 70f at 6 pm, even warmer this afternoon.
Enjoying this great weather just have to be outside and do stuff. And yes I did have my shorts and t shirt on today just like yesterday but had Suzie take a pic just to prove it. In particular just for Paul and Marti  Dahl.
yep thats me
This morning got some errands done and when Suzie and her Dad took off to visit her mom she left me a "honey do list".  Fix the garden lights, replace a few burnt out bulbs, fix a couple missing uprights on the deck, ( thanks to neighbour Louie for the use of his cordless drill and three deck screws), removed a buried 5 gallon pail by the pond and filled the hole. New owners will not be using the fish pond and will probably fill it in because of a young child.
garden lights fixed
deck uprights repaired
pail removed and hole filled in
walkout from the lower family room
By the time this was done getting close to 3 pm not a lot of time for a walkabout. So I did what I have been missing for a very long time. Sat on the rear upper deck in the afternoon sun (wow it was hot! ) and enjoyed my Kobo (e-reader). Now that was so wonderful, looking forward to many more upcoming days doing this with my honey somewhere, beside our own house !

For supper tonight gonna do some chicken kabobs. So marinated three boneless chicken breasts in this Kraft dressing and marinade I used for another recipe, And worked out wonderful.
Ended up with 3 kabobs with lotsa good stuff, grape tomatoes, red onions, yellow peppers, (jalapeño peppers on mine ) and fresh mushrooms. Not long on the grill and added to our leafy salad, boy did we have a tasty meal, and of course leftovers, for a nice light lunch.
as usual our Weber Q does the trick
yep tasty
We are really enjoying this great weather as you well know. And making progress in leaps and bounds. Soon the mission will be accomplished.
Thanks for your visit and really hope your day was as wonderful as ours.  Does it get  much better?
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.

  1. By the sounds of it you probably had better weather than we did here in Pigeon Forge.

  3. I think I see you in shorts and tee shirt, but I'm not sure because I was blinded by those white legs... :cD

    1. Haha, your legs would be white too if you spent the winter here too.

  4. George I am green with envy. There's still tons of snow here on the ground and its four degrees (though I have gotten several hundred kms in on my winter bike) and we're under a weather advisory for a possible 30 cms on Monday. I have no doubt Ontario will be my Canadian home base when I begin my RV gypsy biker life. Hope all is well. (HWM)

    1. All is wonderful here, the weather here not nearly as bad as on the Rock, thing you would enjoy it here.

  5. I am not sure I ever saw the back of the house. That deck is beautiful. What a house mom and dad have. I can see why it sold so fast.
